All cubes were 1cm as advertised. Although I wasn't expecting an even distribution of the 10 colors I was pleasantly surprised to find 50 of each until I got to lime green and found a black cube had taken its place. I bought these as game currency for a home made card game and only intended to use 4 colors, so the 49 greens aren't an issue. For the price you can't beat 500 small objects for game design and creation. Read more

These are perfect for gaming tokens when using for game building or even for games that might need tokens and don't give you any.I only gave it a Four instead of a Five because there are certain colors I use and ones I don't and I would have liked a less color variant and giving it a more quantity supply. (Meaning 500 cubes is enough but there are 2 shades of green where one would suffice and having 1 shade and more of the other colors would be better.) Keeping this in mind, if you are building a project requiring larger quantities then you might like to know that this set also comes in a 1000 piece tub as well. There is no grey in this set (for stone), but you can easily use the white or black as a substitute. There is Black, White, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Dark Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Pink in this set. I accidentally ordered these, instead of unifx cubes, and at first was disappointed but grew to really like these for my children. As a homeschooling family, we use these quite a bit. As a mother with discalculalia, I fully appreciate these and how they have helped me make math more accessible to my children. There is a ton of them- many different colors, and a lot more than you would get than unifix cubes. The only thing is that they do not click together, but it is not a major factor in their use. Read more

The cubes are exactly what they say they are. One centimeter a side, hard plastic, multiple colored cubes. They are not heavy, but I'm not sure if they are hollow or solid. These make great markers for boardgames or miniatures games. I've used them to mark destroyed bridges and victory conditions in wargames. As I said, they are light, and they can slide across the game board if they catch your sleeve or if the board is hit hard enough to make the counters or "bits" move.I've also experimented with converting some of them to dice to use as a substitute for the (overpriced) custom dice that come with many games. The cubes are really too small to hold an elaborate pattern that can be read from any distance, and they don't have the heavier feel of standard dice. On the other hand, you can take a fine Sharpie to them and make a basic number, letter, or design, and they will function like normal dice. And you get a ton of them for about the price of one set of custom dice that are sold for some games. If you want to use these cubes as dice, understand the trade off. Read more

These cubes are a life saver. My daughter loves these cubes. We were using bottle tops at first but these color codes cubes helps with her math problems as if they were made specifically for them. For example, my daughter's homework would say " There are 4 pink crayons and 3 green crayons, how many crayons are there?" All she has to do is pull out 4 pink cubes and 3 green cubes and she counts them all together. Best thing ever. #1stGrade Read more

These really helped my kiddo have a visual for his school work. I really like the size. It makes it easy to have a workbook and use the cubes on a smaller desk. Read more

They're all exactly the same size, and there's a hojillion of them. What more could you ask for?I use them in games to track points and player statuses and things of that nature.I would have given them five stars, but the dark green and the light green are VERY similar in color, thus cutting down my 10 colors to 9 easily distinguished ones. I'm considering putting black dots (with a Sharpie) on the faces of the dark green ones to help, but that would take a while... Read more

Best price I could find for these litlle plastic cubes. Good range of colours. Wanted them for half-life experiments with A Level physics group. Seem expensive, but price much better than from "educational" suppliers. Read more

Read more
