We purchased the Crocodile Activity panels to create a sensory area in the children's section of our public library. We thought it would be perfect, as we have 71" of blank wall on which to install it, and the size depicted in the description/advertisement indicated it is 68.8" long (see picture). Unfortunately, the Crocodile is over 74" and will not fit. Now we have to completely redesign the space and move shelving units with almost 1,000 books to make a place for it. This has very much dampened out enthusiasm for what is an otherwise charming and engaging learning center. Please get your measurements right/updated ASAP, so this doesn't happen to someone else. You've created a lot of chaos and extra work here with your mistake. Read more
This is my second attempt at reviewing this item...I guess the product being "Amazon's choice" you have to be very careful what you write, even if it's the truth. I give it one star because there is an issue with the plexi-glass being very sharp over the magnetic number maze and spinner that might cause a potential injury to a little finger or hand. I should be able to mention that to prevent a child from having this happen to them without being silenced. Read more
My grandson couldn't wait to get it out the box.However, this is for a childcare Center for older infants and young Toddlers classroom.Since, my grandbaby liked it so much l purchased another one and out it inside his room at our house can not stop playing with it. Read more
My boys are 18 mo and 8. I purchased this mainly for the little one, but my older son has autism and also enjoys these types of activities. I have severe carpal tunnel issues, so assembling things is often difficult for me, but I was able to put this up by myself in about 30 minutes. I used the included drywall anchors and it feels really sturdy on the wall. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price; it feels as nice as the commercial “waiting room” products which are twice as much. Read more
I love this and the kids at church love it too, but it didn’t last 1 hour, maybe 30 minutes, until one of the parts came off. I don’t know if taking off the wall will work to tie it back, but I was disappointed that it happened so fast. Other than that, it’s a fun new addition to our Church’s Toddlers Room. Read more
It is very hard to keep my 2yr and 3yr old busy but after setting this up I was pleasantly surprised to find both of them working on the board without fighting, helping each other try to figure out to move the blocks, or mechanical pieces and not having to be supervised. I especially love the fact that they make the magnetic wands removable so that they don't use them to snatch the board off the wall...(Super Smart Thinking). I didn't even have to use the included screws or anchors. I use the command velcro stips so not to put holds in our walls. I am happy to say that it has been 3 months and the bad boy is still standing and my two boys are still fascinated with the features and even bring their friends into their play room to play with them. My 2 year old and 3 year old love it ! I love it because it helps keep toy mess off the floor it has so much to keep them busy and the mess isn't on the floor. It is large make sure you have a wall for it . It was much easier to install then I imagined it would be it's fairly easy to keep it level by lining the drill holes next to each other without having to mark the spots prior to hanging. Read more
