I bought this based on the reviews as there was a review that compared this pillow to boppy and said it was better. I had boppy with my first baby and while I really liked it I decided I’d give this one a try with my second one. It is larger than boppy but I feel it doesn’t have density and support the boppy has, it feels softer. Cover is not removable so when dirty - entire pillow must go to the washer. I thought straps would be useful to keep the baby strapped in and use it as a lounger for more versatility but I feel it’s too high and the whole idea altogether doesn’t feel very safe to me. I have decided to return this pillow and get boppy lounge pillow for the baby to lounge on and boppy nursing pillow for breastfeeding. If at least the cover was removable I would probably keep it and skip the hassle of returning it but I remember having to wash that cover quite often so no. I don’t feel this pillow is as advertised. This was a great nursing pillow to start the journey with, but you need a bunch of extra pillows to really make yourself comfortable and to get your newborn into the perfect position. You'll need a pillow under the side under the baby's head, and a pillow for your back. And maybe a pillow for your feet. And maybe roll up a blanket to put between your now oddly shaped belly, your bosom, and the baby. But I'm also kind of a small lady.Anyways, I now have the LeachCo, the Boppy, the Breastfriend, and a travel Boppy, and I like them all for different reasons. But the LeachCo is a great all around pillow - it's soft, it doesn't get hot, and with some extra pillows, you can get it juuuuust right. If you like it, get an extra cover for it, though, because my baby barfed on it every day for months, I spilled salsa on it, and yeah...it's very well-loved. Read more

Bought this as a baby gift. The recipient absolutely loves it. She started using it the day after she came home from the hospital with her newborn. It has been used while sitting in a chair and laying in bed and it's very easy to use. She also uses it to lay the baby in so she isn't constantly laying in her crib. Using this pillow she is able to lay the baby down in whatever room she happens to be in so she doesn't have to worry about running up and down the stairs to get to the baby. While the cover is not removable it can be wiped off with a damp soapy rag if it happens to get a little messy. The straps holding the baby are a big plus over other nursing pillows because there is no worry about the baby sliding down or rolling off. Read more

I'm an occupational therapist and I bought this pillow for my daughter to give her a little more head support while sitting as she was born premature (she just turned 5 months old). This pillow does its job beautifully! I usually lay her down using another pillow underneath to prop her up a little more during sitting. The straps stabilise her upper torso leaving her hands free for play. I also do lots of tummy time with it; just after a few tries, she was able to use her arms to push herself up, allowing improved head control. Because the material it's so soft, but sturdy, she always looks comfortable and secure in it. I'd definitely recommend this product! If you feel that the back isn't high enough, you can always use it on a couch with pillows underneath (or to the sides) for added support. Read more

I actually saw this in a crib advertisement and thought it would be a great gift for my daughter-in-law as she is due at the end of November with her 2nd child. It took me a while to find it as I didn't know it's name, but finally found it. Since my daughter-in-law will be having a C-Section and will nurse, this will be great. The baby won't be laying directly on her stomach to irritate her incision. This is a very firm "Cuddler" pillow and with the attached lap-belt or "strap", he won't be able to wiggle out of it easily, if at all. It will be great for the crib or playpen as it says it helps with digestion, which my granddaughter had issues with digesting her milk. What's so great about this product is it can be used past the nursing stage, to help babies sit up or to just give them comfort at nap time. A very versatile product! I was going to purchase a Boppy but am very glad I found this Le' Cuddler. It is less expensive as you don't have to buy the pillow and pillow case and the Boppy doesn't have the belt/strap. I feel it is definitely worth the money spent. I got this 3 days after I ordered, so very fast shipper! I'd definitely recommend! Read more

I love this nursing pillow! As the previous reviews states, this pillow is really better for small/average sized women. I am probably between 150-170 ibs since I returned home from the hospital and started using the pillow, and it fits me pretty well right now. I do not recommend for overweight women.I bought a water proof boppy cover for this pillow and it fits PERFECTLY. I love this pillow and I'm so glad I purchased it. Read more

Cover can’t come off- so you can’t ever wash it. That was the biggest reason I returned the pillow. The fabric is ok, but the pillow itself could use more support. This is already on the “mushy” side of pillows and with use I think it would break down quickly. Read more

I own about three traditional "Boppy" pillows for nursing but wanted something with a bit more security for my little one to sit on when in bed with me while I recovered from a c-section. This worked perfectly. It is just as well made as my other nursing pillows, but the "seat" secured her in place and made me feel much safer, knowing she couldn't worm her way into a dangerous position. If you are a fan of nursing pillows, I highly suggest this one be added to your collection. It is one of the more unique ones I have come across and I would recommend it to anyone with a newborn. It was also a great price compared to some of the other pillows I have purchased. Read more

We had done a lot of research before buying this one, and Leachco nursing pillow is one of the best purchases we made for the baby! It is big and comfortable; it's awesome for those first days when you are just learning to nurse. We used it post C Sec, and it was helpful to protect my tummy. Now we use the pillow to semi-recline the baby to talk to him and sing to him - it's comfortable and let's him focus just on us without having to struggle while in his back. Not happy. This is very misleading - the pillow I received is very small. It almost doesn't even fit around my waist and I thought this was going to be a bigger one that the ones I had viewed in the stores like Toys R Us based on how big the child is in the picture. It is much smaller in person and was more money than the ones I saw in the store - disappointed. Read more
