This perfume was recommended to me years ago, and I loved this scent but was devoted to another perfume at the time. Now, I'm weary of what I've worn for years, saw this great deal on Amazon, and ordered Le Baiser Du Dragon at long last! I was surprised to learn such a delicious scent had been discontinued. I used this EDP when it first came out in 2003 and I just fell in love with it. Eventually I found it to be too overpowering to wear for work yet still liked it for occasional use, mostly winter. This EDP has a very strong patchouli and benzoin scent that is best noted at dry-down. This fragrance was discontinued by Cartier so I'm pretty sure that there is only limited availability; what's out there is mostly the 3.3 ounce size. My particular item turned out to be a perfect purchase from Amazon, still has the great scent I remember,but it has lessened its strength somewhat allowing for the smell of alcohol to be stronger, likely due to the stock age. Above all, this is a fabulous price, especially if one compares it to $145 retail! So 5 stars for authenticity, 4 stars for condition of the scent and 5 stars for Amazon's excellent delivery of the item. UPDATE: I was concerned with the stopper, as it is all Black, with the fine red line around the base, but it is definitely different from the one I still have at home. The top I have, has a Chinese design in metallic silver at the very top of the stopper, which is the same pattern as the one in the front of the bottle. NEW UPDATE: Amazon was very diligent regarding my inquiry and researched the matter with their providers. The conclusion is that the Chinese pattern on the stopper was discontinued,at least for that year, and so it definitely confirms that the perfume is a genuine Cartier. This is my second bottle of this perfume....the first one I bought 5 years ago and stayed on all day when I put it on in the morning. This bottle doesn't stay on for longer than a few hours. Very disappointing. Read more

I’m a dude, and bought this after I got a little sampling of it at the store. It is great for a male cologne if you don’t care for deep, musky scents. Le Baiser du Dragon is on the sweeter end, woody, and nutty. But it’s pretty clean without being really all that floral. Once it sits, you really get the hints of chocolate. Read more
