I have a drawer in my bathroom that was dedicated to all of my makeup, and that meant that the drawer was crammed full. Some of it is very seldom used, piled in with my everyday, go-to products. I received this bag (solid blue), sorted thru that overstuffed drawer, and pulled all of my favorite products and brushes and placed them in the new bag. The rarely used products were left in the drawer. Now it's so simple to grab this bag and open it out into a large circle on my vanity; everything easily seen and quick to grab. When done, I pull the drawstring and plop the bag on a shelf in my linen closet right next to the bathroom sink. I am already so pleased with the bag that I ordered one for my daughter (purple). I really tried to like this and even got this more expensive option as opposed to a cheaper one that just didn't close without a lot of finagling. This one closed fine and it did what it's supposed to, I guess. But it's awkward. Yes, you have everything right there, you just dump it into the bag when it's laid out and then you pull the strings to roll it up (Though I could NOT roll it up with just the one string, I had to grab both sides of the bag to do this) and voila, you have a little carry pack! I wish it was that simple. Things get totally disorganized and if you have bottles you want to stay up a certain way, there isn't really a way for that. You can lay them down in the little straps but they are laying down. If you're a person ok with chaos, this may work for you, but for a very organized, albeit admittedly lazy person, which is the reason this appealed to me, I would say skip this and find something else. I LOVE this bag. Someone else recommended it to me and I was looking for a replacement for my makeup bag. I wasn't sure how it'd work because it seemed like it wouldn't hold a lot. It holds all my regular makeup and then when I travel and need to put my eye shadow palettes it fits those too since it's adjustable! And nothing falls out. I don't always have things put in the "straps" but I do use the side zipper pocket inside. Seriously a must for everyone. My friend uses it for makeup and toiletries - I think that may be too much but have also not tried it. Read more

I was so excited about this purchase - I hate digging through a top-zip bag for makeup when traveling. And the design is wonderful - it worked so well on my recent trip! Unfortunately, my liquid foundation leaked a little bit on the plane ride, and the organizer did not wash clean despite some pre-treatment. Next trip, I’ll put the foundation in a zip lock bag and learn to live with the stains. Because the design really is brilliant! Read more

These pouches are one of the greatest ideas I have discovered lately. I bough this one for my cosmetics and the little one for my jewelry to take on my last trip. i absolutely loved them both! In the first place they take no room in your luggage because they flatten up once you pull the strings shut. One goes in the bathroom and whether or not one has a good size vanity it's so easy to find a surface big enough to lay it on, then just open it flat and everything is on sight and easy to locate.
