We really love this kiddyboard and my 2-yr-old adores it. The annoyances begin with the fact that it was not recommended to fit our BOB stroller. That's okay, we took the chance and it still is worth it. But the connection component that attaches to the stroller axlebar is flimsy and poorly designed. Regardless of which stroller you have this is a flaw of the product. The connector will loosen and then drift along the axlebar which is potentially hazardous at worst, a wobbly ride at best.My handy-dandy hubby has tried to shim it different ways and may have inadvertently discovered The One Thing Duct Tape Cannot Fix. However, the connection connects and we appreciate that all is not lost. It just requires stopping and adjusting like ill-fitting hosiery or underwear. So, I guess you could say that it's like buying a wedgie for yourself. The other problem is that the riding platform is rather small. Granted my 2-yr-old is the size of a 5-y-o and wears size 9 shoe. But her feet are already too big for the space. Since the idea is for her to walk much of the time we are out and about, she still can hop on and comfortably balance herself for brief sessions. But more than 5 minutes is not possible. For the price, I wonder how much longer we can sustain it for her, but we don't really have activities that entail just miles of walking without a stop. So having the convenience of her hopping on and off, say at the zoo or a street fair, is worth it so far. Hubby will probably adjust the platform anyway. But by that point, we should've just bought parts at home depot and built from scratch.Because he's already majorly modified it once. We are tall with big feet, so he constantly kicked the wheels when he pushed the stroller. In desperation, he removed the wheels, mounted a metal bar expander and reattached the wheels wider apart. This has created the perfect amount of clearance for our apparently wide strides. But depending on your stroller, how well the axlebar attachment is functioning and what your stride is like, it could be a problem for you, too.The last thing that is not ideal is the distance of the axle mount to the rider's platform. Again, we know this was not designed to fit well with our particular stroller. But any stroller with a solid horizontal push bar instead of two separate handles, will find that the riding kid's head will be where the handlebar is. This forces the kid to tilt back, putting weight on the stroller and causing the occasional 'whoops.' No major wrecks, and yes, it's self-inflicted because the mfr did warn us. But a longer, stronger attachment lead would substantially stabilize the whole design, regardless of stroller models. What we love is the concept, the lift up and tuck away cord, and that the main platform and wheels are super sturdy and durable. It is this durability that gives us the option to make our own modifications. Otherwise it would've been back at the mfr the day after Christmas. Since we are gigantic folks, perhaps our challenges are unique and the typical family will not find issues with the KiddyBoard as we did. If you are an active family, don't want to deal with a huge double stroller and/or want to encourage your kids to walk and participate in engaging activities, then this is a must have for families with 2 kids and at least one of which is a toddler/preschooler.The mfr site does a great job of identifying stroller compatibility. For all that it has irritated us with its weaknesses, the primary fact is it makes us all much happier and even more likely to go out and do things because it is fun, simple and convenient to use. My 2-y-o would give it 5 stars, I'm sure. As long as you know what you're getting, then it's well worth it. I would buy this again over another stroller any day. Read more
For anyone with multiple kids at a young age, this product just helps getting from A to B much easier. My son (2.5 yrs) does not like being on the kiddie board all the time, but we get him on and manage to cover more ground quickly. It's also useful in airports for transporting bags together with stroller. This is a great aftermarket product. it doesn't tuck away like some but attaches easy and clips up and out of the way. My only negative is that we are on our second one...and there is a 45lb weight limit (I think this is our problem). But it is wonderful for our Montian Buggy and has saved us from having to buy a double jogger/stroller for neighborhood or off road walks. Read more
Not well built for a $80-90 item. My son didn't like the riding position. Connector bolt got stuck and we had to dismantle part of board to remove from stroller. Would try to get rid of it but I can't remove the connector bolt assembly from my stroller without breaking it. I do not recommend this product. Read more
This product is easy to install and its very useful for when you have an older child who doesn't quite need a stroller but may not be able to walk all the time. Great for large amusement parks. Best used on paved surfaces. Read more
