I really like L'ANZA's healing colorcare shampoo. It smells pleasant, lathers like crazy and leaves my hair silky, glossy and shiny. It also helps to prevent color fading from the sun and from regular washes. I only wash my hair a few times a week which is important for those who've just colored their hair. Make sure to use cool water as well, so you don't strip the color as much.This shampoo does NOT have parabens or sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate, ingredients that dry out your skin and hair. Stay away from them when possible! I'm usually into more natural products (I make most of my own), but I do appreciate the wonderful plant-based ingredients in this shampoo, such as calendula extract, echinacea extract, gardenia extract, yellow rose extract, hibiscus flower extract and orchid flower extract. Although the perfume scent is not natural, this shampoo still keeps my hair and scalp clean and healthy between washes.I have thick straight hair so I use up more shampoo than others might. This shampoo bottle is larger than the conditioner bottle (should be the other way around) but still much smaller than the same shampoo sold at salons. The price is about the same for less product. So is this shampoo overpriced? Absolutely. But you have to pay for the brand and for better quality and beneficial ingredients. I'd suggest checking out the price of the larger bottle at your local salon.Despite all that, I'm happy with the purchase and I'll continue to use it for now. L-ANZA hasn't let me down yet. I was very hopeful when I ordered this shampoo and conditioner due to hearing good things about the brand. It smells good but my hair feels like straw after using it for 2 days!! I have thin, slightly oily, blonde hair and dryness isn’t usually a problem. I would NOT recommend this to others. I imagine it isn’t the “real” stuff. Shame on me for being fooled. ☹️ Read more

Kinda hard to tell in this picture, but some parts of my blonde are still a little yellow as I’ve only used this once since I’ve gotten it. It’s perfect for the platinum blonde and right away takes out any brassy tones! The smell is delicious too, especially compared to the “dog shampoo” smell of other purple shampoos. Read more

My hair is quite dry, frizzy, and curly. It really doesn't help that I lighten the color and dye my hair. This shampoo is the best I have found (and I have really tried just about everything else out there at this point from Pantene, to L'Oreal, Garnier, Redken, Matrix, and even a few all natural shampoos). This cleans the dirt and oil from my hair without completely drying it out (which is really important for my hair type). I get the color care since I often add more red to my hair as well. This is a relatively costly product. I tried a friends supply first and I was pleasantly surprised how soft my hair was. I have shoulder length hair that is thick and naturally wavy. I do color my hair as well. After using this product my hair looks great feels soft and smells nice too. Read more

I love the shampoo and have used it for years now. I have thin color-treated hair and this protects color and hair. I am giving it a low rating because my recent purchase came with the bottle opened and without a seal. The product had squeezed out into the bag as a result. I LOVE this shampoo! It has done an incredible job of preserving my red color-treated hair. It lasts for a long time because you don't need to use much. I have long, thick, curly hair and use about the size of a nickel to wash it every 2-3 days. The bottle lasted me a little over 2 months. The shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING!! I have never actually had soft hair after it's been bleached. Super glad I splurged. Posting this on the conditioner, shampoo, silver care shampoo and hair oil products. I use the silver care once or twice a week, and the regular shampoo 2-3x a week (I only wash hair every other day). Conditioner every time I get my hair wet. Honestly the best shampoo I have used.I bought this due to having my hair bleached and then dyed 2 different colours.I was advised to use masks etc to keep the colours in but the bottom of my hair always felt minging no matter how many times I washed it.I was sceptical at first because I didn’t want it to strip the colour but finally!!!!
