I bought these because I was looking for a cough drop sweetened with stevia rather than artificial sweeteners, and this was the only one I could find. I expected them to be menthol, kind of like Vicks or something, but they're not. The flavor is hard to describe. It reminds me of something from my childhood -- horehound, maybe -- a slightly licorice taste. If you've ever used Fisherman's Friend cough drops, that's similar. Anyway, I still have a lot of them, and if I ever have a bad cough I'll probably use them. But for something to keep my mouth from drying out at night, I've gone back to the sugar-free Vicks (or generic). Read more
