I have worn this scent for more than 45 years and this is not the same scent and I am extremely disappointed. I should have purchased this at a legitimate retailer. This is not 100% authentic, scent does not last very long and even the scent is not the same as what I have been purchasing for many years. This item was the "Amazon's Choice" and I have always relied on their recommendation and until now, have never been disappointed. Please don't order this item, you will be very disappointed. I bought this perfume for a friend, from their wish list. On arrival, the packaging made me extremely suspicious about whether this is a real Nina Ricci product.First, the box is not cellophane-wrapped and is made of cheap-looking card. The printing on tbe box also looks cheap and is off-centre.Also, the container is not a Nina Ricci bottle, with the distinctive stopper... as the product is advertised/pictured on Amazon. It is in a plain, white, plastic pump-spray... more reminiscent of a deodorant container. Again, it is very cheap and inauthentic-looking.I will wait to see what my friend says when the package is opened... but if they are not convinced by the L'Air du Temps scent or the packaging I WILL be returning this product to Amazon after Christmas.I will update my review based on her response. On 11 Dec 2019 I ordered a 30ml glass bottle with dove atop direct from Amazon (i.e. Amazon was the seller, not a third party.) The gift recipient confirms that the perfume is the real deal. I expected this since I‘ve previously sent her the 100ml and 50 ml bottles - but Amazon now only have the smallest bottle, at least at present. The perfume came in a cylindrical white can which looks nothing like as nice as the beautiful glass bottle in Amazon’s own photo. If you’re not concerned about the presentation then it’s a good buy since the contents are superb. For me, gift-wise, this the the third and final time I’ll buy perfume from, or on, Amazon. I have never tried this Eau de Toilette before but I do like good good perfume and although this is only a light version of the perfume I really didn't like it at all.I have read a lot about 'L'air Du Temps but was sadly disappointed with the Eau de Toilette.It wasn't unpleasant but very uninspiring.I expect the perfume would be stronger but not the one for me. I like a perfume or cologne that I can use as my 'signature ' scent for a few months at a time but this just doesn't do it for me. Read more
