I figured I'd try this, as the collagen is at a dose I've taken, and the other ingredients - Curcumin and Silica are also there in OK doses. I figure,i can try this for a while, in place of what I normally take, which are separate supplements.The box has 30 sachets in it, ready to go. Good for some folks who don't want to spend time measuring this stuff out. I got some water, and figured at first I would take it straight, to see how it tasted. It had a bit of a taste, but, not anything I didn't expect from the mix of Collagen, etc in there. A bit of a, "Blah" taste. Mixing it with some other powdered supplements I take, I didn't notice the taste.This is OK for what it is. So far, doesn't seem like anything too special, it's more of a convenience thing, the sachets. I normally take separates, but, if someone is particularly taking a similar dose of Collagen and Silica, this is not a bad way to go. I hate to write a negative review because I know this stuff is fabulous. And I know others will love it. It’s just a personal thing for me. I just can’t drink it. I couldn’t even taste it because it smelled bad. I mixed with a cup of water. It’s not so much a bad smell but the smell of what I think collagen from cow parts smells like. I think that’s in my head is all since that’s where most come from. So I’ll give the pros and cons. The cons are my personal opinion as I’m a wus and can’t take anything mixed to drink. It’s psychological. When I ordered, I thought I was getting pills.Pros:Has the collagen l and lll as is recommended for any quality product like this that genuinely works. I am a huge believer and I supporter of taking collagen each and every day to help with my joint pains. I can really tell a difference when I’m taking it and when I’m not. This particular brand has everything measured out ready to go. These are very convenient for those that are busy or on the run all the time to grab and take with you. Mixes fairly well compared to most collagen powders. Works best to mixer type shaker bottle with the ball inside. Flavor is not bad with this brand. It has three types of collagen along with some other joint support additives. So far I have not seen any negative side effects. Seems to be giving me good results overall. I just couldn't get past the taste of the curcumin. I know these ingredients are really beneficial, and I love that this contains all three types of collagen so I'm still giving it five stars even though I wouldn't purchase it again personally. I just have had to force it down in each beverage I've tried. I like these convenient pouches to take for travel or work and I really LOVE that they have all three types of collagen but I would only recommend these to smoothie drinkers who can chug down anything or those who don't mind the taste of some curcumin in their drink because the taste just came through in everything. I'm giving this product 4 stars just because of the convenience of having the 3 main ingredients already combined - curcumin, silica and collagen. I buy all three separate but my curcumin is in the whole form of turmeric powder. Turmeric powder is a powerful anti-arthritis and cancer compound and is cheap as dirt to buy in a bag either at a store or on-line. Silica is also cheap as dirt to buy a big box of it and use for yourself for joint health and on your plants to keep the bugs away. Collagen is a little pricier but not bad and definitely this is the way I've been doing it for years. But, the mix is good as it has a lot of good stuff in it, it doesn't taste bad and it's convenient though expensive. As of this review a one-month supply costs around $35.00 and I can buy at least 6 months worth of separate ingredients for that much money. Read more
