These wipes are fantastic! I purchased the bulk pack to put out for guests at my wedding and had a bunch left over. We quickly discovered how vital they were to enjoying our backyard living space the rest of the Summer. Pack a few in a pocket or purse or backpack, easily take them anywhere or any time and they work remarkably well against those pesky mosquitoes. The scent is soothing and lovely and they are totally worth every penny. They’re a little oily coming out of the package so it takes some practice figuring out the best method to apply evenly and efficiently without all the oils just getting all over your hands first. I tend to leave them in a folded square right out of the package to apply to the tops of my feet and ankles first. If you open the wipe completely up and try to use it like a baby wipe, they sometimes roll up or tear and it makes it harder to evenly spread the oil on your exposed skin. La Fresh Mosquito Repellent Wipes (300)These wipes are a novel idea with a practical purpose. They come in individual packs like wet wipes and have a strong peppermint scent. They don't smell like nasty chemical repellent. The active ingredient is peppermint oil. There's other oils included also which is why wipe is oily. Watch your clothes due to the oil, but it does wash out if you get on your clothes. It washes easily off the skin also. I had no irritation, but if you are sensitive to peppermint or if you just don't like that scent, then don't get these.Repellent does indeed protect from mosquitoes. I used during yard work and did not get eaten up like i normally do. These will come in handy in summer when mosquitoes are most active. I get bit just sitting on the deck. Picked these up as they seemed handy - single use, highly portable. Stick in a pocket, or a purse, or backpack. Would be nice for parks/picnics/hiking/camping.Easy to open and easy to apply. Can even wipe down 2 younger kids with one wipe. The wipe is very wet when the packet is opened, so these were messy for us at first until we got the hang of it.No funky chemicals but just essential oils which is nice and natural. Did not sting on skin, even the more sensitive kids.The drawback here was how well it worked. About 1/ 2 our family was fully/mostly protected from bug bites while wearing these for an evening camping, and they other half seemed to get a lot of bites, but perhaps less than "usual" for the conditions.
