The scrunchies are made of different materials. There are two that are velvet and there’s one that is made with a rougher fabric. Lastly, there are two that are made of thinner fabric. Personally, I like that there are different colors and also different materials. Based on the day and look, I can choose which one I’d like to wear. I like that they’re fairly affordable as well. These are wonderful for preventing breakage, but I gather the seller is OUT of the colors advertised as of June 2020, as I don't even see them on their website. I am so happy scrunchies are making a comeback. These are not the huge amount of material I remember as a kid but a pared down classier attempt. I have long and curly hair and the sleek thin bands are always a hassle. These are ridiculously soft and perfect for a messy bun at brunch or lounging around. The fit, quality and stretch were all exactly what I wanted and when I pull it out of my ponytail or bun, it does not tear out any hairs. I’m 4 months postpartum so my hair has been falling out a LOT, so I needed some gentle soft scrunchies instead of my usual hair ties. I use these everyday! The colours are beautiful and can easily adapt into your wardrobe. It doesn't leave a crease in my hair whatsoever. I usually wear this to sleep and haven't noticed breakage. I used one consistently for a while, tying my hair in a bun and it stretched out. I can still use it, but I guess it does not bounce back.For the scrunchies I am more gentle with, they are still in tact and tight.I like the material of both the soft and smooth scrunchies, colors are cute and neutral. They were what I expected. I think some of the bad quality photos in the review section are misleading honestly. The elasticity is what I would expect from a scrunchie. It holds. But if i'm wearing it *out* i'd reinforce it with an elastic underneath. They are all beautiful and I would buy them again. Read more
