All it did was stain my tub. False advertising or just poor choice of name?I don't know.What I do know is Hunter Green is NOT green.It's blue.....TEAL/BLUE!It's a pretty color..if you want blue.I didn't want blue, I wanted a darker green.The label color is 1000% misleading, as is the name.Overall: it smells great and didn't leave my hair feeling damaged.So I have mixed feelings.I hope the other colors I try will be more accurate than this one.I'll update later on color longevity/fading and other colors.3 stars because I have plenty of time to experiment on my hair with all this "stay home" nonsense going on. Purchased in gun metal grey. It is easy to use, says it has blue undertones but I noticed much more purple. I have tried permanent hair color in charcoal (almost black) on my roots and as you can see in the before pictures it did not take at all. I had very orange roots and wasnt expecting this to work but hoping it would at least tone my hair. I am impressed with the color turn out knowing how my hair rejects anything dark. The pics are before coloring, during coloring, and after with 1 pic in natural sunlight. I did mainly focus on my roots and blended it down my ends some. Left it on for about an hour because I could still see the orange tint in my hair 30 min in. There is definitely a difference, still a tint of orange but it did work better then permanent dye. Smelled good, had a gel like feel to it. I dont notice any damage to my hair and would love to experiment with some of the different colors they have! Read more

I have naturally medium brown hair (fine, straight) that I’ve had bleached into a multi-toned ombré/balayage. I used this assuming it wouldn’t take to my hair at all, since my hair isn’t white blonde. To my surprise it dyed the lightest parts of my hair a nice grayish color which I love! For the darker parts of my hair, the dye seems to have just toned it rather than depositing color. I’ve washed my hair twice three times since application (I wash my hair on every 3rd day) and the grey is still visible. I have bought this three times now. I can get two applications out of each bottle. It fades beautifully to a trendy copper color which lasts even after the peach has washed out (I have naturally 7N hair color). I love it! I leave it on over night to increase longevity with good results. Read more

I bought this product after I died my hair from blonde (bleached) to my natural color (medium ash brown). When I did this, my blonde pieces took the dye well but my roots ended up VERY brassy. I bought Wella toner & put that in my hair & it didn’t work. I found a youtube video that claimed if you buy a silver/gray toner like this (Mystic Silver in this case), it counteracts the brassiness. I just received it today & immediately put it on (on freshly shampooed hair) & let it sit for about 30 mins. The directions say 15 mins but my roots were very brassy so I left it on longer. After washing it out, I IMMEDIATELY saw a difference. Most (not all) of the brass is gone, but this is only after one use. I’m excited to use it again to see if all of the brass leaves. I 100% recommend this, although I can’t comment on how long it lasts since I just used it, I’m hoping a while. I would recommend this product to anyone! I can’t dye my hair permanently as it is so damaged but this colour covered the red and blue in my hair whilst making it silky soft. I will never use another brand/colour again now! The bottle is 148ml and I didn’t use all of it to absolutely drench my shoulder length thick hair. Read more
