I use these for a different purpose then most people. I wrap the perches of my African Greys play stand. He loves to peel and pick at the wraps and it keeps him busy for days and days. I do have to rewrap about once every 3 weeks or so as the wrap get a little ragged. It is safe for birds which is most important. The wraps are very inepensive for feet safety and a most amusing toy. Loved it! I’m using it for an injured kitten I found. It stays on as long as he doesn't pull it off or it gets dirty. I had to rewrap it a little higher up his leg, I found out it stays on better like that. Just recently hurt my wrist and had to purchase these . I not only look cool with the great colors it bring but also the amount of wrapping these bring individually is perfect I’m able to change Atleast 3 times with each and they are perfect quality as if you were buying a high end brand possibly better . Keeps everything in place as it should. helps a lot with aches that don’t need braces, but could use a bit of immobility. So far only used on wrists for support while typing a lot. Has eased pre-carpal tunnel symptoms. If wrapped as no ugh layers could almost function as a cast. Self adhesion is so good that bending (like an elbow) makes it stick to itself a bit. Not sure knees and elbows would get as much support, but wrists and ankle has worked super well! They smell like band-aids, so not sure what other reviewer was talking about unless it was a bad batch? Definitely good support/light brace substitute, not intended for use directly on wounds. I've been using these on my dog after an amputation surgery for around a month now and they work great for holding gauze securely in place without having to be too tight. They also go on easily and quickly which is a huge benefit now that my dog is feeling better and not wanting to stay still for very long. The colors are pretty! The self sticking gauze is so handy, and I loved the idea of having many colors from which to choose. I imagine children would be much more willing to have a wound wrapped up if they can choose a favorite color for the bandaging.
