I'm a big Kiinde fan but these funnels are just so so- they don't appear as well thought out as their other amazing products. The funnel itself has a very shallow lip that actually goes down into the storage bag so it never sits securely while you are attempting to fill the pouch with purees.... My friend gave me a box of kiinde bags after she was done nursing because I was using ziplock bags for my travel protein shakes.These worked awesome to fill the bags. I could put my two scoops of protein, fiber, and my collagen in one bag, and the mess from filling and emptying the ziplock bags disappeared. It worked so well, she bought another box and filled hers with her shake mixes for a trip to Disney (when it was safe to go). Let me start by saying that I love Kiinde bags and bottles and I have used them for over a year to store milk and feed my baby. Never once did I have a problem pouring milk without a funnel into these pouches. The mouth is wide and sturdy enough that it is easy to do. After I weaned I still had a small stockpile of bags and didn't want to waste them, so I decided to try the "Foodii" part of Kiinde that came with my starter kit. The big "snack filler" left me with a lot of food waste trying to get food into the bags so I decided to try the funnel to make the process easier. Spoler alert- it DID NOT. I am usually putting yogurt mixed with puree in the pouches so the mix is slightly thick but thinned out by the puree so it does pour. These funnels do not click into place in the opening of the bag so while they are somewhat secure , they will fall out if too much is put on the big side at once. They also make the bag very top heavy and multiple times the bags have fallen over and I've spilled food on the counter (and trust me, I'm careful). I know these are not included in the funnel, but I also feel like the eating tops of the Foodii system that screw onto the pouches leave a lot to be desired- and a lot left behind in the pouches that a toddler and an adult cannot suck out. In conclusion, you do NOT need this funnel to pour milk into your bags and I would not recommend using it for food either! Read more

I got the lansinoh zip bag from my baby shower, and didn't like that I had to pump in into my medela bottle first and transfer to the bags. When I was ready to use the milk, I had to transfer back into the bottle. This caused some waste here and there. So I switched to medela bags which can be connected to the pump directly, but the plastic they are made of feels so cheap that sometimes the little hanger broke and the zip didn't seal well. Also, I still had to transfer the milk to bottle when I'm ready to use it. Finally I tried Kiinde and love it! I wish I had found this system earlier and I'm highly recommend it to all my expecting friends. No more milk waste and no more bottle washing! I recently found one more reason to love it is that the bag cover/shell is easier to crab by little hands compared with any bottle, and my baby can suck the milk without keeping his head up high. I just wish there were bigger sized bags, because sometimes I still have to switch bags during pumping, and for those frozen milk in those medela bags, I don't want to transfer them into bottles any more, I transfer into Kiinde bag and let my baby feed himself. Love this funnel!! We had the foodi squeeze bottle, but since we were just posting baby food in it skipped a step of having to clean the squeeze bottle over and over.This funnel is sturdy and super easy to clean. You do have to watch it when pouring because its shallow on the side and if you over fill it will fall over the side. :) Other than that, such a great time saver! Read more

I just recently got this because I was having a hard time keeping the milk all going into the little 8 oz mason jar. The opening on the jar was so narrow and I had so much spray that a lot of times I'd give up when I was still half full because I was getting more on the table than in the jar..... not anymore! This catches almost all of the milk spray and gives me a much wider opening for milk to be collected. I am so happy I bought this; it makes life so much easier for me now with trying to express enough milk to get a freezer stash going. Bonus: it's only four dollars and I get two funnels so I don't have to worry about washing one in between sessions... I LOVE THIS! My son uses Dr. Browns bottles and any others that use DB's know that the neck is the exact same size as the standard formula scoop, thus, everytime you make a bottle, there's formula EVERYWHERE. I keep one at home to make bottles with and one in the overnight bag as well. Read more

I used the kiinde bottles with my first born in 2018 and I am going to use them again in 2021 with my second child!!! I found the bags to be difficult to transfer milk into, so this time around I got the funnels and I already tried them with water to get used to them and they work great! Read more
