Got this product for the price point. Read reviews about the taste and all that jazz, I mean what do you expect for the price? People just want to complain about everything these days. Look, I will be quite frank, is this the best stuff out there? no. Does it taste amazing? also no. Does it do its job? yes. Can I deal with the salty taste for 3 seconds while I chug a glass? yes. Are all the bad reviewers the type of people who complain about everything? yes. Bottom line, its got a salty taste to it, almost like drinking sea water with a splash of fruit punch. Personally I tolerate it, and it does its job. You wanna spend 40 dollars on DR. BERG cuz it tastes good, more power to you. but for the normal people in the world who aren't complainers and cry babies, this stuff works and its not the worst thing ive tasted. I bought the mango flavor and read the instructions (I'm weird that way). It clearly says:"Add 1 large scoop...to 12 fluid oz. very cold water. Add MORE cold water to adjust the taste to your liking."Note: TWELVE OUNCES OF WATER minimum.It's going to taste way too strong (and yes, sort of salty) if you mix it with less than 12 oz. per scoop. Plus, if you're taking electrolytes, you probably need to drink more water than usual anyway, so *dilute it* for heaven's sake! It's really good that way.Here's how I do it: I put about 10 oz. of cold water into a jar (with a lid) and mix in 3 scoops of powder. Then every couple of hours I shake the jar, & pour about 1 finger's width of the mix into a big empty tumbler. Then I fill the tumbler the rest of the way up with sparkling water.*** It's so good and refreshing my husband drinks it too, even though I'm the only one on a keto diet! ***For an added delish factor, add a squirt of ginger extract, a little vanilla, and a few drops of fenugreek to the jar. I've tried another brand, and while it was good, this has a better price point, so I wanted to give it a try. I purchased the fruit punch flavor. I was very impressed! Of course, the electroly ratio seems good, so that wasn't a concern. I know some of the reviews said that it tasted salty - well, it IS an electroly supplement, but I don't detect an overly salty taste. What I like is that it's not too sweet, either. I've been doing keto for a month now and was looking to increase my potassium. I watch Dr. Berg, but felt all of his supplements are way over priced, so I decided to give this a shot. The first two days I felt like I was choking down fruit flavored alka-seltzer, and had to lower the amount I was mixing with my water. I've tried a lot of electrolyte drinks, drops, and powders, but after a month of keto dieting, this is the one I needed all along. I thought it was a little pricey, but considering all those others that I've tried and didn't like in the past, or that just didn't make me feel better, this one is a bargain. I would say it is a must for making a keto diet more comfortable. The flavor is good. As I was reading up on the Keto diet, I kept seeing the Keto flu come up. I decided not to start (first day) my new diet until the Keto Vitals arrived. By the second day of eating differently (stopping bread, pastas, sugar) I did infact start feeling a little head ache, a little nauseous, I drank the Keto Vitals as directed and I felt a bit better. This is a great option to drink vitamins and electrolytes! I bought the mango flavor after trying the multiple flavors togo packets. The mango, fruit punch and lemonade all taste delicious. You save more money if you buy the 348g container. The packets are worth it when we travel.If you like the taste of Gatorade, you’ll enjoy the KetoVitals. At 1st I didn’t think it was sweet enough, but after a few weeks of giving up sugars and carbs this tastes super sweet. I mix it with 16 oz of water instead of the 12oz it recommends.
