I am amazed at how soft this shampoo leaves my hair. I have relaxed ethnic hair and surprisingly I DO not need to use a conditioner after I wash. I've purchased numerous detangling shampoos and conditioners in the past and they fail to leave the hair detangled and smooth. In addition, this shampoo helps to eliminate breakage and I can see why because you put less stress on the hair because it combs out so easy. A little goes a long way, its very concentrated. It definitely detangles the hair, especially hen used in combination with my wet detangler brush, but it never left my hair feeling hydrated. My hair didn't feel super dry, but I just inherently knew it was a bit too drying for my hair. It definitely is much better than most detangling shampoos out there though, and feels like it is of better quality. I have since begun using Innersense Hairbath though, and will stick with that. love this shampoo! i've been using it for 10+ years and i'm sure i'm suppose to switch it up, but NOTHING helps detangle like the keracare. it's especially helpful on black hair that is natural (not permed/straightened). i'm a 3c/4a and my curls get shoestring knots like crazy. i used to lose at least a handful of hair during my detangle/comb/finger out process. once i started using this, it cut that amount down by over half. Keracare detangling Shampoo is a rich lathering shampoo that lathers quickly and makes hair feel silky. Not this one! The one I ordered, here, is very watery. Wow! Unbelievable. Smells good. Detangles well but not so much that it is worth the price. There are some less expensive, dare I say!, brands that are sold in drugstores that do a better job. Have to use conditioner after shampooing with this for it does leave the hair a tad too squeaky. Read more

This Shampoo does leave a softness after 1 or 2 washes. Right after I use the shampoo I use Keracare Humecto Creme Conditioner. Do not let the size fool you into thinking you'll run out quickly. You won't run out quickly. With the shampoo I recommend using the Keracare Humecto Creme Conditioner afterwards. Read more

Thus item is a little pricey and doesn't last very long. I would like to see a little more moisturizer included in the product itself. It seems like this product has changed frim when it use to purchase it years ago. I can put water and olive oil in a soray bottle, shake it and use it and its alit cheaper.
