For years I've been struggling with several dime and penny sized Keloids dead center on my chest. I became very self conscious about them and started to try everything I could get my hands on to get rid of them. I even went to my dermatologist and got steroid injections SEVERAL times. I tried the silicone sheets, I tried scaraway, you name it I've tried it. Now, THIS, this scar butter cream concoction, is the ONLY product I've noticed that makes ANY difference. My scars are slowly becoming flatter and they are even adjusting back to my normal skin tone. I think a big part of this, is the messaging. Not only that, but I also dash just a pinch of sea salt on top once I'm done massaging the cream into the scar. This also seems to help for whatever reason lol. You need to stay consistent with applying the cream and massaging it in for 5 minutes, I only do it once a day at night and that seems to be enough to help out my scars. I never write a review. Even when the product is terrible. But when it’s been life changing then I need to spread the good word. I had a tummy tuck and an extended brachioplasty (Scars went down to my lateral chest) I was using the silicone pads and I think my skin was negatively reacting to the sheeting itself. Tried to return it and company wouldn’t accept the return. I tried silicone pads for 3 months and I swear my scars looked better in the beginning then they do now. The silicone pads left me red. Skin stains. Etc. I even tried the silicone cream and it was okay but that small and expensive tube only lasted a few short days with my lengthy scars. Some of my scars were starting to protrude. Not full blown keloid (thank god) but enough where one formed a pimple the size of a boil. And one another one softly popped out like a vein. Dermatologist gave me a cortisone (steroid shot) on my wound sites which def helped. I started the massages again. But this stick was what sealed the deal. This is now day 2 of me using the stick on my scars, 3 times a day (spaced 5 hours apart) and WOW what a difference. The boil I referenced too before shrunk in half and not nearly as painful as it was before. And the vein looking spot flattened out AND lightened up (a double whammy) and since I’ve gone without silicone pads the redness around my scars has significantly faded. All in two days. For the first time in my recovery I actually feel confident that my scars will heal normally. What I love even more is that it’s affordable and I can tell this stick will at the very least, last me the whole month before I have to restock. For me, I’ve learned that the natural method to lighten my scars work best. I love this stuff. It has softened up and lightened up a VERY old keloid. Like over a decade old. I massage it into the keloid twice a day and it’s slowly lightening up and softening up. And I’ve noticed significantly less pain in my keloid since I’ve been using this! Read more
