Bag was good for 2 uses, now the seams are coming apart and threads are coming out. I wasn't kneading or squeezing too hard, I watched the YT video from the vendor "how to make a strong kava drink" and he squeezes/wrings out the bag pretty tight. I wasn't using that much strength when wringing my bag so I'm a bit disappointed to pay for a bag that's falling apart after 2 uses and I imagine at this rate it would probably only last a couple more uses. Before I purchased this strainer, I had attempted to use many, many other types of strainers. Metal, wood, plastic, hosiery, t-shirts, cheesecloth, coffee filters, etc. You name it, and I had tried it. And, generally, they were all terrible for kava, largely because the kava material clogs anything fine enough to actually filter it. This strainer bag, though, is a game changer. Compared to the other available options (and even other kava strainer bags), this strainer seems almost magical. I really cannot say enough good things about this strainer. I got a strainer bag that was taken out of the box before but apparently hadn't been used before. I have two problems with this bag. The first problem: I feel like it doesn't strain as well as my free bag I got from a Kava seller website. I've found a lot of people prefer the free bags too surprisingly. My second problem is that it stains really easily. This bag became strained after the first use and just gets a bit darker after each use even after washing it with dish soap.It's a strainer bag and it works, but I don't think it's worth the price. I've been enjoying this strainer, it's amazing. I'm a pretty big dude, and haven't been able to rip it open while straining the root of happiness. It's gone through about 100+ cycles of HARD squeezing, and she's still going full speed ahead.My only beef with it is that it's really deep, I'd prefer a more shallow version since I only use 5-6 TBsp of root. *hint hint kavafied*Quality product, don't hesitate. Strainer bag works great, is easy to clean, large enough for giant batches but still usable with as little as 1 tablespoon kava, seems quite well made like it will last for 100s of uses.I was initially concerned about some extra stitching on the bag that seemed loose but I was assured that it's normal and not a defect, so as long as the bag holds up I will keep this review at 5 stars.
