That said they must have changed the formula because I just used some of the newest supply that I purchased and ended up with a painful chemical burn. I only left it on my hair for 3 min, thank God. I've tried two types of shampoos from Just for Men: this one (the original formula, where you have to mix two products before use) and the newer version that comes in a single bottle. The single bottle version is of course easier to use... but the shade is lighter than expected and it doesn't last long after a few shampoos.The original formula (two bottles) is a bit more complicated and you have to be very careful not to get any of it on your hands, floor, etc, because it stains a lot... which is the point. My hubby normally would get hair professionally colored. But during The lock down he had to start doing his own. My husband normally just bought from store and liked the results so continued to do it on his own. I found on here for cheaper so I bought a three pack . Well my mistake. My poor hubby broke out into a terrible rash all over his head. Ended up turning into a bacterial infection and need to be hospitalized for a day. Sent home with antibiotics. It was awful! Looked up reviews on internet just to find out this is an ongoing issue. Look up the pics. It’s terrible. I feel so awful for him. Never again. Only professional salon from now on. The Light-Medium Brown is almost my exact (original) hair color so it looks very natural.To mix it, you're supposed to pour the contents of one bottle into the other and shake, but sometimes it doesn't mix well enough that way because once they're both in the larger bottle there just isn't enough room left in the bottle for them to mix right. So I pour them both into a separate tiny plastic cup and mix them together with a q-tip - and that seems to do a lot better job. Then I pour it back into the squirt/application bottle.To keep the color consistent you probably have to do it every 3 weeks, and you can't save the stuff once you've mixed it. Also, my sideburns are impervious to this stuff, so they stay partially gray, which is fine with me. It will take a couple of times to get the process down pat so that you can do it quick and cover all of your hair thoroughly. The first time I missed some spots in the back, but now I just use a lot more than seems necessary and make sure all of my hair is wet with the stuff. Also, it's a little messy and will stain your sink area, so put down an old shirt first or something like that.Anyway, I'm happy with it. Read more

Product is easy to use and the color turns out very close to the ads/box. It’s the darkest brown that have but I need to go into the black range to get my natural color.The gloves it comes with are cheap and loose, get some latex or nitrile gloves that fit tighter. I had to borrow my wife’s coloring brush to get the solution applied evenly. Also, the instructions need to specify if you need to wait 5 minutes after you finish applying to rinse out or 5 minutes after you start, they don’t say. Read more
