Perfect for my daughter’s bedroom! It isn’t a very thick rug, so it doesn’t add any padding, but it’s very soft and pretty! The backing reminds me of a bath mat; not exactly non-slip. No, it’s not an exceptionally high quality rug, but for under $20 I didn’t expect it to be. It’s more of an accent rug, which is what I wanted. And it really is super soft. For the price, definitely 5 stars!Update: I want to add that something spilled on it so I put it in the washing machine on delicate cycle and hung it to dry. When I read the negative reviews after I’d already completed the purchase, I started thinking I might have just thrown away 22 bucks but honestly, for the price, it’s not that bad. It’s a little thin but it’s soft enough on bare feet. It was vacuum sealed in a small bag and I thought, oh no... but its flattening out and plumping up fairly quickly. I don’t know how long it will last but it’s in a low traffic area so there’s that. The size is perfect for my space and the color is true to the pictures. No weird smell and the round shape was perfect. It is on a wood floor. At first it slipped a little but once it plumped up and flattened out all the way, the little grippers started working better and it is safe to walk on. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I purchased several different rugs to place around my home to assist my elderly dog in walking on the floors (he was slipping a lot).These have turned out to be his favorite. He absolutely loves the softness. Some other rugs are actually slippery themselves, but this is not.I got the gray purple, which is actually an eggplant color. It's really beautiful. The pic does not do it justice.I would absolutely purchase this again!Update: Use caution when washing these. Even in cold water, the thread or the fabric on the trim shrinks. You need to stretch it immediately, while still wet. Otherwise, you'll end up with part of it popping up because of the shrinkage, and it's a big tripping hazard. Read more

It was a TOTAL WASTE of money. I would compare it to a tablecloth. ONLY the size was great for the price. The size is great for the price you pay.When I unwrapped it, my son said “it smells like spray paint and burnt floor cleaner”. The smell was awful. He laid on it and did “snow angel” movements to try to flatten it out but the edges popped back up and don’t stay flat. I figured I could Google a way to get it to stay down so that wasn’t a big deal, just more of an inconvenience. It was shaggy so that was accurate. However, when I walked on it to leave his bedroom I realized that there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO cushion to the carpet. So if you have a hardwood floor this is by far the WORST PRODUCT. There is NOT any cushion actually built into it. IT felt like 2 THIN BED SHEETS sewed together to LOOK like a padded rug. There is more cushion in a wash cloth, hot pad, computer mouse pad, a drying mat for dishes and even laying a towel flat on the ground is more cushioned than what this “FABRIC THING” was. It is NOT a rug. It is NOT a carpet. I would NOT feel comfortable changing a baby on it because of the massive chemical smell and due to the fact that there is ZERO cushion. Both of my dogs went and laid on it and both of them ended up with welts And bumps All OVER THEIR BODY within an hour after laying on it . My son and I broke out in hives all over our arms, face, and on his legs. We then went to the emergency room and was told to get rid of it immediately and not keep it in the house because we are having a chemical reaction to it. The doctor told us that there’s no way to know what is in it. We received it last night and threw it away last night. I did not feel comfortable keeping it in the house. The dogs, my son, and I took Benadryl and once it was removed from our house, we took showers, bathed the dogs, we haven’t had any issues. My dogs still have bumps all over them but at least my son and I are fine. It is a very cheap product from China and you can tell by the quality, and the horrific smell it is a complete scam.
