Overall we really enjoy this swing. A neighbor has a saucer type swing and we much prefer this type that more resembles a chair. Allows you to relax and swing. Have had kids as young as 2 on it and it feels extremely safe. We are using this with straps, also purchased on amazon, to hang the swing. No drilling needed. The swing is fairly easy to put together, but the last section needed some muscle to get the tubes to fit together.The reason this is only a 3 start review is that we have had it up for only 5 days and there is a lot of rust at the connection points and on the nuts and bolts. One picture I have showing the rusty water dripping out of the tubes and the other picture is of the rusty nails. For a product that is supposed to be an outdoor item, I am very disappointed that it is rusting after less than one week! I cant imagine what it will look like after one year.I suppose you can go through the hassle of taking it down every day and hooking it back up. For something that costs this much, $80+, I would expect it to be more durable. Read more
I bought this to replace a plank seat swing. This web chair arrived on time. This chair swing was super easy to put together. I have arthritis in my hands and I had no problems assembling the chair. My husband hung the chair on the existing swing straps. A little short for a three year old to climb into. Used the existing chains to lower it. Perfect! I have to confess I swing in it myself. Will buy a large dog bed to cushion little legs from the outdoor webbing on chair. So far I would order another . Read more
This swing chair is slightly priced than similar ones, but I’m super happy I chose this model. The height is easily adjustable and it’s way better made than the cheaper ones I’ve seen. The seat is connected by strong screw clamps and the top connection is also solid. Since this swing will live outside, I’m glad I went with a sturdier, better made version! Read more
