I really wanted to love this product. After using it a couple times I've given up, as I cannot get over the strong perfume like smell. Not bad, I like the smell it brings to my hair. I put it on right when I get out of the shower so I can come my long hair with ease (instead the of the regular war it and I never seem win). Make sure to give the bottle a good shake before applying!! That was key. I was going to write a review that it felt like just water and it was a waste of money, but I found out giving it a good shake was the trick to get all the good stuff mixed up and evenly sprayed into my hair. I have double-processed platinum hair (lightened from my natural dark brown) and this leave-in conditioner keeps my hair frizz-free and shiny! I used this twice a day after I shower (I rinse in the morning and take a full shower at night). I spray this on liberally after towel-drying and then comb it through my hair and let it air-dry. Each strand looks shiny and my hair feels soft, even after being lightened so drastically.I am also very picky about the actual color of products I use because I like to keep my hair toned as ashy as possible. I used to use this all the time. Best for softening and best for detangling wavy thick hair. I stopped using for a while, blaming my acne on every possible product and source, but after being sure this made no difference in my acne (my theory being that I'm sleeping w/ hair in my face or this getting on my pillow, it's NOT) I have started using it again and my hair is sooo grateful. I went through a few different brands of leave-in conditioner before I found this one, and now I'm sticking with it for life. First of all, the scent is perfect, it's not too overpowering but has a nice smell. My husband complained about the scent of every previous conditioner I tried. It also leaves my hair soft and light. My hairdresser recommended I switch to leave-in because I have fine hair and regular conditioner tends to weigh it down and make it greasier. My first use with this conditioner was extremely underwhelming because it provided seemingly no benefits to my hair versus the slight moisturization and de-frizzing I would get if I used a conditioner by OGX, BUT I did some experimenting and found that if I left a bit of this in my hair (meaning I wouldn't rinse it all out when showering), it provided a much softer, sleeker look to my hair. It's much more controlled if I do that rather than rinsing it all out. I have really frizzy, dry, fine hair, and this method doesn't leave my hair sticky or heavy, so I'd highly recommend it. If you're determined to always rinse it out completely, you might not like this conditioner in general. Read more

I love this product for detangling hair and it doesn't cost a ton. I have long, baby fine hair - get tons of tangles, knots. Use this with Zerran Equalizer Conditioner in shower (only need a small amount, rub in on dry hair just before and a tiny amount again in shower, leave in some)! Don't use the other John Frieda Frizz Eaze squeeze top (with trigger squeeze) bottle. Keeps locking up. Maybe they don't make it anymore. This is great ... I love this product!!I have thick hair that ends at roughly the same spot as my shoulder blades. I spritz my hair between 4 - 8 times (depending on the weather) & I rarely run into nasty tangles even when I flip my head over & comb the underside.
