After seeing all the great reviews I'm really surprised that this doesnt work well. I ran out of my Schwarzkopf purple shampoo and decided to try this since it was cheaper.I first noticed the shampoo looked different; my old stuff was a thick deep purple and this is lilac. It also lathers a lot, which I've read is not ideal with purple shampoos. After just one use my previously silvery white hair started showing yellow tones. Although I change shampoos from time to time, this one is my favorite right now. I have grey hair and this seems to help with yellowing. Of all the Purple (grey hair) shampoos I have tried, this one is the best. It gets my hair perfectly clean and rinses out well. I also use the matching conditioner occasionally. It works good too but usually I skip the conditioner so I can get an extra day before needing to shampoo again. I appreciate that I can get this shampoo from Amazon at a reasonable price and quick delivery. Read more
