I like this face moisturizer/self tanner because the tanning is gradual and you build on it slowly. This does have a light self tanner scent as the tanner sits on your face but it is not an offensive smell. I am fair skin with blonde hair and blue eyes and the fair to medium moisturizer was perfect. The tan looks more like I've been kissed by the sun. Mild, not harsh or orange. This is SPF 20 to help block out the sun's harmful rays. So originally I bought this product in the shade Medium to Tan, and although I am a white girl, I’m not pasty white so I thought it would work. The Medium to Tan ended up being still too dark and noticeable on my face, because even though I was blending into my hairline, it was still leaving a noticeable patchiness. I loved that the product was helping my acne and overall appearance of my skin, so I ordered the Fair to Medium shade and it is perfect, no patchiness, and people are complementing me, saying that i’ve been looking tan. My acne has cleared up so i’ve been using this product and not putting on foundation everyday, since I was using foundation for a color base and to cover up my acne. I love this product. I am using the Firming lotion on my body Andy face was starting to look like a different color. I’m just a day or two I started to get a healthy glow. I have not had any breakout issues and I am acne prone! I don’t even use foundation and I’m 2 shades darker on my concealer. I was the lightest possible shade and now I’m warmer and glowing! I use Jergens self-tanner for the face everyday! I like the medium deep as it gives a natural tan color. It works well as a sunblock (only 15%), even better than when I used a 5O% spf from the dermatologist because Jergens does not sweat off. I like to use a lip/cheek stain over it to get a perfect sun kissed look (Body Shop) applied to apples of my cheeks. I will never stop buying Jergens. It also works nicely under my foundation (Bare Minerals and also Glo Therapeutics), but most days I wear it alone with the cheek stain. I receive lots of compliments on how nice my skin is, even from the dermatologist, so if you are looking for a self tanner for the face try it! It does not cause breakouts. I guess the reason I like this is that it's goof-proof because it's so gradual. There's no way to get unflattering streaks and blobs of color, because it takes 2 days to see even the mildest hint of color, and the glow you get is so sheer that it would disappear in a day or 2 without even a weak scrub. It's great if you typically detest self-tanners, or have had mishaps in the past, because this can't be screwed up even if you try.The other good thing is that it's a legitimately okay moisturizer. There's nothing weird or gross about it----it spreads easily, and adds a manageable amount of moisture without making you look like an oil rig disaster. Additionally, there's none of that terrible "self-tanner-smell"---I suppose because the amount of tanning agent is so small.if it helps anyone, I can tell you that one or two applications of this tanner are not enough to make it so you have to buy a darker shade of foundation. I tend to use BB creams, which are generally pretty forgiving in terms of color, but the Light/Medium Jergens face color is such a mild, sheer tone that it is barely detectable in the way the body self tanners tend to be. This is my favorite daytime face moisturizer. I like that it isn't a heavy moisturizer, and it gives my pale face a hint of color. It doesn't make me look overly tan or fake. Occasionally, I will notice an area on the edge of my face that has gotten darker than the rest, but a good exfoliation (even rubbing a little with a wet washcloth) will take care of that. I have a naturally light complexion, but I prefer the med-dark color in the natural glow. The lighter color didn't seem to give me any color. I've gotten this multiple times because it always works great for me. I have acne prone skin and I use this as a moisturizer on top of my acne product(proactiv). It doesn't make me breakout ! When I first started it a while ago it made me breakout a little in the beginning but using it on a daily basis doesn't bother my skin anymore. It gives a nice color tan every day (you can actually see it the same day you use it) and doesn't get too dark or orange because I wash my face everyday so I guess it fades when I do that. When using though be sure to rub it in on your entire face and don't miss any areas (such as around your lips and nose, up to hairline and ears, and rub into neck/jawline). I've purchased this product a few times and I'm very pleased with it. If you are looking for a deep self tanning agent then this won't be right for you, but for just a nice light glow and colour then this product is good especially if you use it every day like you would a normal body moisturiser. I find this product has got a fairly pleasent smell, not sickly at all like some other products of a similar nature. I just wish I could buy it in England. I've just purchased another tube but I've had to order Fair to Medium because Medium to Tan wasn't on offer, it was a silly price like around £35 or something when it's usually put out between £ 14 to 18 pounds. I've not tried the Fair to Medium even though I have a fair to medium skin tone so I will have to compare it to the Medium to Tan. Read more

Bought this after seeing it on an American bloggers site. It definitely works, I'm very fair skinned and it gives a bronze glow after the second application. I really like it, but the smell is quite strong like most fake tanning products. It arrived quite quickly and was well packaged. It's a good size bottle so I imagine I'll get about six months use out of it because you only need a small amount due to its thin consistency. Read more

Has a nice natural glow. Not too heavy or dark. Can build it up for a deeper look by putting on twice daily or more I suppose. but I like to use it every other day and I is enough to give me a healthy glow like I have been in the sun for a couple of days.
