The 7x is just right amount of magnification. I like the square design as it adds a modern touch . Only down side is that it doesn’t have a normal mirror on the other side. In other words it’s not a two sided mirror like most of the round ones. Not a deal breaker by any means. Read more
My wife loved this mirror when we were at a hotel on vacation so I bought it for her for valentines day. Due to the arm being so long it is important to find a stud to mount to so that the moment arm doesn't pull the base off the wall. The location that we needed to attach to didn't have a stud so I ended up using liquid nails to attach it to the wall for extra support.My wife still loves the mirror. Read more
We just stayed at the Park MGM in Las Vegas and they had one of these in the bathroom. We just did a bathroom remodel in our house so I wanted one. Found this much cheaper than the one in the hotel and it’s perfect! Loving it! Read more

The optical quality of this mirror is really bad. The image of the one I got was not quite in focus. Also, I had this mirror side-by-side with a 3x mirror, and the Jerdon seemed to have slightly LESS magnification, so no way it's 5x. Although it's made of glass, it has a plastic-feel to it. Finally, I sliced my finger on a sharp edge that was left on the metal backing behind the glass. Overall: a cheap imitation of somebody else's design, not well executed. Read more
I had been looking at this style or mirror for a long time as it was inspired by a hotel. After some comparison shopping, I chose this one. The price was good. I got it earlier than anticipated. Looks good, but absolute lies about it being 5x. This mirror is at best 3x IF you are at a certain distance, but once you get closer, there is no magnification at all. waste of money and time. What harm is it to put a more accurate description on? Read more
I first saw this mirror in a hotel room in Vancouver. It took me a while to figured out who made it. This is a solid, well-made mirror with 5X magnification. It comes with metal anchors for mounting on a well. I like the rectangular shape - folds away nicely too. Read more

The item was backordered for some time but came promptly and in good shape once shipped. We had seen the item on display in a local big box store but they did not have any stock and did not seem to be getting any in. The item was also available with the desired brushed nickel finish rather than chrome. It would be nice if the two extension arms were the same length rather than one being longer than the other which results in the mirror being offset to one side or the other when pushed back against the wall.
