This is exactly the mirror I've been looking for. It's 2 sided: 1 side is regular mirror, the other side is 5x magnification. 9 inches, full size. But best of all, it's tall and has an adjustable stand. It's perfect to place on a bathroom counter and you can use it easily without bending over. You can adjust the height to make it shorter if you put it on a vanity, bedside table or desk. The bottom base is round but with a small enough footprint that it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's very sturdy and the mirror can be removed from the stand but, for me, it's too large for traveling. I think this is a remarkable value. Even though I was looking for a lighted mirror, this mirror can be so tall that the regular bathroom lighting is sufficient. I can't say enough good things about this mirror. It's my 1st purchase from this company but I won't hesitate to buy their products again. I can't remember when I've been more pleased or excited about a purchase. And it was well packaged, too. Easy to attach the stand to the mirror and the base. This is SO much better than I expected based on other reviews. This is a fabulous mirror! I bought it to replace my hard to find vanity mirror. The quality is much better than other more expensive mirrors I have had over the years. The magnification is perfect for those of us who wear readers and need a little help seeing as we apply makeup. The 10x mirrors are great if you want to magnify ONE area, but this 5x allows you to see the whole face, which is exactly what I needed. Purchased this mirror for my lovely 65 year old wife in July 2020. She uses the mirror to shape her eyebrows and remove facial hair while in her favorite heavily padded adirondack chair that has wide flat arms. She loves the magnification, the swivel feature and says the height of the mirror allowed her to set it on the arm of her chair so she has both hands free to make her face beautiful for me. The height adjustment is made similar to a music or microphone stand, so its easy to adjust. Its well made and we would recommend it for home use. I am thrilled with this. It is just what I have been looking for. Because I have the taller height vanity in my bathroom, I have trouble leaning in close enough to the wall mirror for makeup application and other close-up tasks. This looks great on my counter top and, when extended to its full height, it is perfect for someone who stands for their grooming routine. I am 5'5", which is not an uncommon height for a woman, but finding a tall enough mirror on a stand for this purpose was nearly impossible. You would think that others would also have the same need. I considered a mirror on a retractable scissors-style arm, but I am glad to have this one as the retractable ones are not nearly as solid or attractive.This is sturdily built and of good quality with a nice heavy base for stability. I am pleased. I was hesitant to buy this based on other reviewers' disappointment with it being wobbly. Mine is very slightly so (the reason I gave four stars instead of five), but when the adjustment cuff is tightened down adequately, it is not a problem, even when extended to its full height, which is how I leave it. I purchased mine from Amazon through their "open box warehouse deal" for a substantial savings. Never having done that before, I was concerned that the product would have some flaw, but it is just like new and I would purchase in this way again.As an additional note, the 5x magnification is just the right strength for those who have reached a certain age and don't want to reach for their reading glasses every few minutes. I live in a small mountain town so I purchase from Amazon multiple times a week..... FOR YEARS...... This mirror is hands down, BY FAR..... the cheapest piece of crap I have ever received. Go read the one star reviews, (which I did but the good reviews swayed me). It was lopsided (which is a review I read and ignored) which was unfixable and after 10 days the side screw broke right off the mirror so it's went in the garbage. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I was looking for a mirror that was height adjustable because my table sits low and I was tired of having to hold a hand mirror or place a mirror on stacked boxes to do makeup (Im a makeup artist). The mirror came with a chip in one of the mirrors but I requested a refund and was able to get that refund while keeping the mirror and honestly I will see how long this one holds on with the chip and then just buy the same one again. It's huge, heavy, adjustable and double sided with a magnifying side....I honestly love it! I am really glad I purchased this mirror. Something that has always bothered me was the fact most vanity mirrors do not adjust, I am 5'10 and all the mirrors are extremely short. I have a large makeup section and I want to be comfortable when slaying my makeup. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is hard to adjust, once you set it in place it is a pain to try to alter it again. My only complaint. Read more

Great shaving mirror. Well built, large and tall. Only criticism is when you extend the stand to raise the height it is not stable and wobbles. The mirror is all metal except for the bushing between the inner and outer tubes. It is nylon (plastic), and pretty flimsy. A real shame that this great mirror has such a cheap part to do the main reason I bought this mirror, to raise the mirror higher than normal.A 5 star mirror that only gets 4 stars. Read more
