I bought this mirror especially for my wife and her contact lenses. Extendable, Standard mirror, magnifying mirror.I have read some bad reviews on these, but so far, so good. Just remember to tighten the set screw!! I think that is the main problem folks are having as the mirror will unscrew from its post if you don't. Comes with two mount screws and plastic inserts for the wall. If you don't get it perfectly straight, there is a bit of slop in the mount holes to give you some wiggle room before you tighten down the installation. Read more

I have my TV at the foot of my bed on a book shelf. I like to sleep on my side though when falling asleep and got annoyed that I couldn't see the TV that way so I purchased this and mounted it to my headboard to extend and pivot so when I am laying on my side I can still see the tv angled through the mirror. It works great & then in the morning or when not in use I can just contract it back and against the wall. The quality has held up great for 2 years now! Read more

I cut my own hair. I've been doing it for over 2 decades now, but whereas I used to be able to hold a mirror steady without fail, I don't seem to have that ability anymore. But this mirror has allowed me to see the back of my head again without shaking. And I have perfectly straight lines yet again. It extends well over 2 feet (I'd say definitely 3 feet), was easy to hang and is sturdy and well built. Read more

Great magnifying mirror, with great extension ability!Love that this lays flat against the wall until it's pulled out, the ease it swivels between reg & 3x magnification & the mirror/image quality is excellent. In reading reviews multiple people complained about it swinging freely away from wall or them. Have had NO PROBLEM with this.Installation might be a tiny bit tricky if you're not handy or familiar with doing DIY work. Most importantly the part that attaches to the wall needs to be "plumb", if not, that's where the movement comes from, there was a decent template included for this.Check the internet, installation videos etc if you're unsure how to make it plumb to the wall & you should be delighted with this mirror! This is the third time I have had to buy this unit. I love it - it works great for me for applying makeup close up and then for distance to style my hair. HOWEVER, the way the mirror is screwed to the extension causes it to become gradually unscrewed as I switch from one side of the mirror to the other. After having the mirror fall off and break twice, and having to buy this unit again just to get the mirror, I'm now trying to remember to tighten the screw whenever I use the mirror. Mr. or Ms. Manufacturer, are you listening?? Read more

I bought this Jerdon two-sided swivel wall mirror because I needed to be able to see the back of my head when I am coloring my hair. This mirror is fantastic and is exactly what I have wanted and needed for years. The mirror has a regular view side and a 5x magnification side. The mirror is very sturdy, easy to put up, and it extends up to 30 inches from the wall which is great. My husband also likes to use this mirror to shave because with the 5x magnification he is able see every hair. My daughter also likes it and plans to get one for her bathroom. This is a great mirror and the price is good. I would highly recommend this mirror to anyone in the market looking for this type of mirror. Read more

The Jerdon J2020C mirror positives: The box came complete and it installed fine. I used different, stronger wall anchors, and had to find a wall stud that would make a good mounting location. (If you install the mounting screws in drywall, they will eventually tear a hole or two in your wall when it comes loose.) It accordions down to a small size and can be conveniently stored flat against the wall. The negatives: The mirror vibrates after you reset its location, because it's on a long extension. It would be nice if it could move up and down a bit, instead of being on a single plane, since it's kind of small. The joints on the extending parts are stiff and could do with a bit of lubrication. It seems like it's made rather cheaply, and eventually will come apart and have to be tossed. That said, the price is reasonable and it does what you need it to do. Read more

For the $28 delivered, it's quite a versatile device. The two magnifications, none (1x) and five times make this mirror very handy. My wife likes it, for she can see her scalp from the rear using the 1x magnification . I like it for close shaving and nose hair trimming using the 5x magnification. The arm's 30-inch extension capability is rather helpful when the distance to the wall on the side of the sink is longer than average. The installation is straight-forward: Driving the mounting screws into a stud is highly recommended. The attached figure shows an a close-up view for assembling the mirror to the adjustable extension arm. The mirror and its nut appear on the left. Assemble the rod and its components as shown. Make sure you don't loose the little plastic collar. Use the knurled nut to tighten the assembly.Of some concern is the chrome-plating. It seems quite thin. Let's see how long it takes until rust appears; bathrooms are after all rather humid. Read more

I picked this unit out as it seemed to have the longest extension and it does stretch out 30 inches as I measured it.I would have preferred a round mirror but the extension length was more important to me.The main thing to note is that the mirror frame is white plastic as are the knobs that mount the mirror to the U shaped bracket. I assumed it would be chromed and I had to closely re-examine the add photos to see that it was indeed white plastic. So it does look kinda cheap in that sense. See pic #2.There is a locking screw where the U shaped bracket attaches to the long bolt to keep the mirror from unthreading itself as you spin it (see pic #1). I took the extra step to add thread locker to it prior to mounting. I also sprayed dry lube to the extending arm joints so it functioned more smoothly. For about 37cad its not bad considering the build quality is just ok. Read more

Provided anchors are some of the worst I have used. Minimal hammering curled them inwards, making drilling or continuing to hammer them near impossible. Because there's no lip on the anchors either, they ended up falling through the wall, leading me to some annoying drywall repairs. The anchors themselves are slightly too large for the screw as well. The mirror itself is beautiful and exactly as expected, but the fact that the provided hardware does not work well with the frame really brings down my opinion of this product. If you're completely sold on the mirror, be sure you find some higher quality anchors, or ensure you can use a stud to drill into. Was easy to Install but just used Shorter Screws, as I have a small Bathroom, and Installed it close to the Door Edge, instead of the Wall. The Door latches right by the Sink, and the Wall Mirror over it, makes it too Far to see Close, what's going on with my hair, and always had to Use a Hand Mirror to see the Back. Now I have Both Hands Free.People have Commented the Extending Arm is Stiff, so I just applied a tiny Bit of [thin] Gun Oil at all the Rivet Points, and worked it till it moved freely, then dried it off.To Keep Prints off the Mirror, grasp the Arm End Pin to Extend or Close Back, instead of Pulling on the Mirror, itself.Remember to use a Level when marking for the Screws, so they Align Straight. Nice long extension so easy to position on any wall you like. I use it to reflect into vanity mirror to see the back of my hair. Although I tend not to use it, it does have good magnification. Reasonably sturdy Read more

This mirror only lasted 2 months until it started breaking and falling apart, plastic peace holding the mirror to the bracket broke right off and the mirror was barley hanging one side. Good thing I caught it or else I would’ve had glass all over the floor. Read more
