My wife loves it, but was a bit difficult to install because of the specifics of the conduits in our bathroom wall next to mirror. Direct wire gives a cleaner install but can be a bitch depending on your specifics as to where the studs are and what else is in the wall. In my case, it needed to be above a 4-square outlet box with 2 conduit pipes running to the ceiling. I bought a Wiremold metal surface install circular box that allowed me to screw one-side to a stud, drywall fasteners for the other side, and ran BX out the back (into the wall) of the Wiremold and down to the junction box. This light is well built and bright. I would prefer a higher magnification but that is my issue not the mirrors. It installed easily enough. My only complaint is that the mirror does not pivot upward enough. Now, this wouldn't be an issue if you are newly installing the mirror and can choose where on the wall to mount it. We have an existing mounting and it's close to our counter top. So while the mirror does slightly tilt upward, it's nowhere near enough and I have to stoop a bit to see in it. I'm not returning the mirror because I don't mind stooping but, eventually, I'll probably replace it when I get sick of it. Read more
