They are black socks. They seem to be constructed very well, and are as black as black can be no navy for grey. I purchased for my son to wear for christmas pictures. He still wears them 2 or so months later and they are holding up great. Price is something I didn't agree with, 10.00 for 3 pairs of plain black socks.
