I highly recommend this to anyone in need of baby diaper or adult brief disposal. I bought this for my disabled son who needs adult briefs and this far exceeds any store bought diaper genie or anything of the sort. Super easy to change out the bag refills, even comes with a spot to cut the bags inside the door. Completely contains odors inside. There is never any diaper odor in his room. Obviously when using for adults you need this bigger size over ones made for babies. But I wish I would have had one of these when my kids were babies/toddlers. Great product. Don't hesitate to buy! I purchased the Janibell MagiKan Model M330DA. Because of its size, I use it in the kitchen as a trash can. One of the swinging doors stopped working the first day I had it. It does not contain odor because the swinging doors don't seal. Like I said, one stopped working.I purchased two Décor Diaper Systems. They work really well for adult incontinence products. The size works well for our bedroom and the bathroom. The door not only seals, but you can lock it to clean it. I suggest using scented liners. The makers of Janibell and Décor systems should have a wide black line on the liners to indicate that the end of the bag is near. It can be messy if you run out of bag and not realize it. I know. Have had this for 2 days and I love it! It solves a number of problems including bags for used adult diapers; disposable over-nite bed pads; odor minimized/eliminated; ease of emptying bag. As noted in other reviews, the door does not fit perfectly, but does not hang open. The plastic material the bin is made of is super light but does the job and makes it easy to move.. A heavier plastic would increase the cost of this product and increase the shipping expense. The simplicity of design is very clever. The continuous 'roll' of bag is cleverly done. The cutting tool inside the door is perfectly placed. A product that helps those who have their loved one at home and keeps our home smelling fresh. Overall I like this a lot. It handles adult diapers very well for the person I got it for, including the extra absorbent overnight type. By "handle" I mean they drop right in w/o any trouble and there's plenty of capacity. A little trouble with one of the spring closed trap doors a few months in to owning this. I'm clever enough to rig up a rubber band across two stick on picture hangers on the under side and get that door to spring closed as it needs to so that odors are blocked. I don't know how it broke and I can't rule out clumsy user error so I don't blame the device. Read more

The adult diaper disposal unit was delivered as promised. Overall the system works, although a design change could make it a better product. The cutter is too low because the cutter is so low on the unit, when the bag is changed the odor is overwhelming. The bags are very stiff which makes it difficult to tie. We have used a Diaper Genie for my Mother's Depends for years. She recently became bed ridden and the need to change from Depends to adult diapers became necessary. Odors never escaped the Diaper Genie and the bags tie easily. Would I recommend this product? I honestly cannot say I would. Read more

-Very wide opening, great for something like a megamax or even one with a booster.-It was great for about 8 months, but a little plastic part on the underside broke off and so i have to put something solid underneath the lever for the lid to open. I advise never stepping down harder or faster than necessary on the floor pedal.-It is not airtight like some other pails, such as an actual genie. If you really need to keep the smells down, get some silicone or some other sort of gasket you can make, and put it between the two parts of the lid or the flaps so the smells can't escape.-The door doesn't close very securely. If you drop a heavy enough diaper in when it's half full, the extra force may open the door and it's hard to close again with the weight pushing against it. The solution to this is putting your foot against the door when dropping something in.Overall, this is a decent pail, whether you're abdl or not, as the hole is very wide and will accept pretty much any reasonable diaper. I wear 24/7 and only need to take the bags out about once a week. Just keep in mind the things listed above, though they're not that bad considering the price and the lack of other, better pails on the market. Read more

My poor Mom was putting her Depends in a garbage bag. This is soooo much nicer. It's odor free and we (siblings) like that the day workers can empty it whenever they come instead of waiting for a 'full bag' as with the garbage bag. The design is superb, the outside of the bags are fully protected from contents at all times so you don't even need gloves to cut the continuous bag and knot it. What a fantastic solution to a sensitive issue. I'm trying to find the door-mount kitchen garbage can Janibell makes for her kitchen. I've looked at others but theirs looks much better with the sealed lid when closed. Read more

Everything is good and the can works well... except the hinged flaps in the lid stopped working in less than 2 months. The flaps are spring loaded to keep a good seal on the garbage can, but the flaps stopped springing back, they just fall down now.
