Normally I love these lozenges the best out of all the Jakeman's, but the packages I received today, January 20th, 2022, are not the large, more effective English lozenges. These are the tiny, sugary US version. The large anise ones are really great and if you can get them, do so. They're perfect because they last about an hour and I take one before I hop on public transportation.These little ones last about 15 minutes max and are hardly large enough to last me a bus ride to the local grocer. If you're gonna sell the inferior version, please indicate this in your listing. Both lozenge packages are 100g but since Americans are such babies and don't like anise, the US version has less of the "flavoring oil" (food-grade essential oil). It's the anise that makes these so good. It's a known antimicrobial (you can look this up in peer-reviewed research if you're up for it). Super annoyed with this seller/listing for the bait & switch. I love these lozenges. If you are gluten free and enjoy licorice, you will love them as well. The size is perfect...not the usual small cough drop. They really work with my bronchitis problems. The hint of menthol works to clear congestion somehow. I am hooked and will keep a stash of these for sure. The first time I ordered those I received the large menthol candies. I really like them so I ordered them again a couple of weeks later. The second time I received the small candies which I do not like. Thus the 3 stars. I don’t like it when I don’t get the product I ordered and paid for. Read more

These are wonderful and definitely do the job, but they are so huge. Please. We used to get these and each individually wrapped lozenge/sweet was much smaller. These are huge. I hope the company will offer a smaller one as well. Read more
