I like a good strong cologne, because I usually only apply in the morning and it needs to last all day. Bogart, while it has a very clean and soapy scent, is just way too strong. One spray to the neck/chest is overpowering for at least 6 hours. Maybe it's just me, but this is way too potent for cool weather. No fruit, floral, or "beach" vibe here. This is spice and leather city. For black tie occasions when you're dressed up. A gorgeous scent for that type of occasion or any formal work setting. This is an OUTSTANDING value this type of scent. Of the same genre as Aramis and Z-14 but much much classier. Assuming you don't go trigger happy (BTW you NEED to go easy on the trigger with any Bogart scent - they are all SUPER concentrated), in the type of setting I've indicated, you will get compliments. Das Haus Bogart bietet noch echte Parfums für Männer, die sich deutlich von den androgynen Einheitsdüften abheben. Es ist natürlich immer eine Frage des persönlichen Geschmacks, ob einem ein Duft zusagt, aber wer mit den Einheitsdüften, die am Ende alle nach Tonkabohne und Moschus stinken nicht zurecht kommt, der kann es hiermit durchaus versuchen.Der Duft ist sehr stark, mir persönlich reicht ein einzelner Sprühstoß aus, der Duft hält dann im Prinzip den ganzen Tag. Ich würde ihn als grün-würzig beschreiben, manche würden ihn (es gibt ihn seit mehr als 30 Jahren) als Opaduft beschreiben, aber in einer Welt, in der es sonst nur Knabendüfte gibt, ist das schon fast ein Kompliment.Er erinnert schon ein wenig an Rasierwässer, aber ohne deren Penetranz und viel harmonischer. Er hat auf mich eine beruhigende Wirkung, ich finde auch, er strahlt etwas selbstsicheres und seriöses aus. Wer beispielsweise noch das Chevignon Parfum kennt, welches ebenfalls von Bogart hergestellt wurde, findet einige Überschneidungen.Nach zirka einer Stunde wird der Duft schwächer, ist aber im Nahbereich immer noch wahrnehmbar und das über Stunden. Also nachsprühen muss man nicht, man sollte nur am Anfang eben nicht zuviel nehmen, sonst hält das keiner aus, man selber wohl auch nicht.Alles in allem ein schöner Duft, den ich gerne verwende, zumal ich hier keine Kopfschmerzen bekomme. Bezahlt habe ich knapp 20€ (geliefert und verkauft von Amazon), was ein fairer Preis ist. Man sollte sich nicht vom Preis täuschen lassen, viele teurere Parfums können hier nicht mithalten.
