Still good for delicates and baby laundry. Price is comparable to other specialized detergent products. Scent is very strong and different than the original. There was no seal other than the cap and it leaked during shipment. Probably not a good idea to order liquid detergent online. Read more

This is the only detergent I use to wash my delicate and pricey bras. It's easy to use, smells great to me and is very effective in cleaning my lingerie. My lingerie is left clean, smelling fresh and soft too--not scratchy (as I do not use softener on my clothing especially on lingerie). I also have very sensitive skin and I do not react to this (despite the fact that there is a scent). Love this product; appreciate the light scent instead of the harsh, over-perfumed ones most people rave about. It works too. I use more than the recommended amount in order to enjoy the clean scent. NOTE: Although I ordered the product with the blue cap, the pink cap is what I received. I've never written a letter of complaint before but this is the worst detergent I've ever used! I loved Ivory Snow in the past so was delighted to find it still available online. However, the chemicals and smell in the pink-capped version are so strong . . . I used less than the amount recommended, but even after putting everything through a second washing cycle without detergent I still can't get the smell out. The chemicals are irritating my eyes, throat, nose and skin. I loved the old product so will order again with clear instructions to receive the blue capped version. If that formula is no longer the one I loved in the past, I'll sadly say goodbye to this brand. Read more

I use Ivory Snow on my own clothes, and sometimes sheets and towels with a liquid fabric softener which makes everything come out much softer, sweet smelling and fresh. Have loved it for years- I have a new HE washer, and at first was hesitant to use it, would only use half the amount for less sudsing but so far I haven't had any problems at all. For tougher dirt I use a regular detergent, but I think Ivory does a very good job. You can even add a bit of Borax to the washer for more freshness.
