I did not expect the arm to be so sturdy and thick. You will not have a problem with your camera moving unless you use some arm muscle to move it yourself. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The only location that I could place my child's monitor was not very reliable and the camera kept falling off the shelf. This holder made my life much easier and worry free.
