Neutralizing shampoo is getting hard to find at the beauty supply stores near my home so I ordered it on here. Traditionally neutralizing shampoo is used after a chemical hair relaxer to rid the hair of the chemical and restore the hair's natural pH balance but I use it after using Nair for body hair removal almost as a body wash to get all of the chemicals off my skin, it really works! I have none of that burning/itching sensation or irritation from the Nair after washing with this plus it restores my skin's natural pH! You can also use this if you bleach or highlight your hair at home to remove all the chemical out of your hair! Same for permanent hair color it will restore the hair's natural pH after any chemical service. If you do use it on your hair it is a little drying so I recommend deep conditioning your hair after but all in all a good product. Not quite as nice smelling or moisturizing as the Elasta QP Neutralizing Shampoo I used to use but it's cheaper and gets the job done. It doesn't smell bad just kind of a generic clean smell. This is the first time that I've experienced this from ordering online, and I'm not very happy with it. Much of the product was spilled in the packaging bag and there is no way that I will be able to use this and feel safe enough to use it. I didn't even see the seal that you normally see on shampoo bottles to prevent spillage. It makes me wonder if it's legit. So disappointing. ... I will say the actual, authentic shampoo is great. My hair feels super soft and is very manageable with this shampoo, I’ve used for a while now and the results are consistent. Great moisturizing shampoo, it lathers well, so nickel to quarter size goes a long way, it also removes product buildup too. For best results let sit on hair for around 2 minutes then rinse. This neutralizing shampoo is a great low-cost option. I have a couple other neutralizing shampoos that are much more costly, but I got this for the wigs I use to practice bleaching on, and wanted something cheaper, since these aren’t wigs I expect to keep for years. It stops the bleaching process just fine. The only reason for knocking off a star and that it won’t replace my usual brands is that it isn’t sulfate-free. If that wasn’t a concern, it’d easily be my go-to shampoo. Read more

The product is good and does what it promises, except for conditioning. However, it needs to have a seal under the cap. It leaked in the box from both the opening of the cap and the part where it screws to the bottle. Read more

Works great on my multi racial wavy bleached blond hair!!Smells great and took all the bleach and smell out in one wash, and two was even better. Left no residue what so ever and cut the rinsing time in half. I would definetly use this regularly after dyeing or bleaching your hair or to get product build up out.
