I wore one of the bands for a few hours they day I recieved it. Then tried to put it back in my hair the next morning and snap.. It broke. I returned these the next day as I cannot see spending $7+ on 3 hair bands that are going to break after a few uses. I have pretty thick hair but had heard these do best with thick hair so I'm disappointed. I really wanted to like these. Read more

Not your typical hair tie, for sure!!! Secures hair nicely and doesn't tug or make it feel heavy. Yea, so they stretch after a couple uses, but no need to fear... simply blow dry it & it goes back to its normal size. Read more

I have thin, fine hair. These do not come out easily at all. It rips out my hair, then the hair tie and my ripped out hair are all tangled together. They also left a dent in my hair. The stretching out didn’t really bother me, I just had to wrap it more times. Now I just use them to hold my hair in a bun when I use my olaplex or deep conditioner. Read more

These are not the real deal. I've bought many of these from the pharmacy and I ordered them here because I couldn't find them. They snapped after one use ! Don't waste your money Read more

It sounds like hyperbole to say that these hair ties changed my life, but it's true. I sleep with my hair in a messy top knot using these elastics every night. In the morning, I just take my hair down, run a brush through it, and that's it. My hair is done, and more voluminous than ever before. I do have pretty low-maintenance hair in general (long, naturally straight) but I never thought it could be THIS EASY. One note: I still use normal elastics when I work out because these don't always hold tight enough when I'm running. Read more

These are GREAT for holding thick hair in place all day. I never used to be able to do a high ponytail without using at least 2, sometimes 3 elastic bands. Something about the spring/curled design of these really grabs my hair and holds it up, but also somehow manages to put less tension on my scalp in the process and doesn't leave NEARLY as noticeable of a crimp from the hairband when you take it out. If you look for a bump you can still sometimes find one, but you have to look for it. I can also hold my long, thick hair in a ballerina bun ALL DAY with ONE of these which feels like a small miracle. These do get stretched out after a while, but I think they still work fine (you just have to go around your ponytail another time), and you can also shrink them back down by applying heat - either put it in your warm pocket for a bit, run them under hot water, or hit them with a blow dryer and you're good to go! Recently bought these after I listened to a the Breaking Beauty Podcast (ep. 19) which interviews the founder of invisibobble. Loved her story (got the idea in college, started the brand with <$10k, and made it on the coveted 30 under 30 list) and decided I needed to try these! They come in a tiny box (at least smaller than I expected) with 3 “invisibobbles”. They are very small but stretch well and I can tie around my hair 3 times easily, which is average for me with a normal hair tie. I really like the invisibobble and am fully converted from my usual hair ties on a day-to-day basis. They don’t crease or catch in my hair, and more importantly, I don’t have to constantly be pulling my hair tighter in my ponytail/messy bun.... total WIN!There is one CON however: When I want a tight, slick back pony or a topknot, I can’t use these. I find that they don’t hold my hair up tight enough for either of these hair styles. I also would probably not want to use these to secure the end of a braid, however I have not tried that yet, so can’t say for certain (they also have the nano size which might solve this issue)Overall, I love the invisibobble and will keep using and I believe they will cause wayyyy less damage to my hair!Pro tip: placing your used invisibobble in a cup of warm water will get it to retract back to original size of it starts to stretch out! Misleading advertising picture. Box contained 1 hair item only, and yet on the side of the small plastic box it states that it is a pack of 3..This Invisibobble is not of the same quality as the Invisibobble's that I usually buy from High Street stores. This bobble stretched way too much, did not hold my hair because of that, and when I took it out then it also pulled quite a lot of my hair with it. It lost shape quickly and after using last night and this morning the item snapped !I have informed Amazon and they have provided good customer service to me however. Read more

These are meant to leave no marks on your hair, they leave less of a mark than a traditional hair bobble, but do still leave a mark. They also stretch after wear, I have used the same one 3 times and it is larger than the others which have not been used yet (they stretch considerably immediately after use and do shrink back almost to original size eventually) but overall I am not sure these are worth the considerable outlay for 3 bobbles when you can get 10 for a lot less and they still leave a dent where you hair has been in a pony. I've got thick long hair and many of them, so regular elastics aren't good at fixing my hair up in a ponytail, it used to end up in the ponytail sliding from the top of my head to the middle and ruining the whole hairstyle. These hair ties are really a game changer, they don't really pull on the hair that much, so you probably won't have to worry about headaches (I didn't have one, at least), and at the same time they hold them up much better, almost no touch ups required. I heard these don't cause hair breakage, but I can't comment on that - since they can fix the hair in position pretty well, the hair can still get trapped in a tie, same as with the regular elastics.UPDATE: downgraded from 5 to 3 stars, since these elastics cause much more hair damage than regular ones. When used with these ties, hairs are just snapping in pieces, then you get lots of short hairs and flyaways. I have super strong hair, used these for a year and seeing the damage, now I almost never use them. It's not just this brand in particular but all hair ties that are plastic.I went back to usual elastics and have healthier hair after a few months. Long haired individuals, you've been warned. Heard so many good things about these bobbles, I feel like I was lied to. They do look good, are easy to use and they don't leave kinks or marks in your hair, but taking them out can be painful. They don't knot but when removing them it is pulling strands of my hair out and when I have them in you can feel sections of your hair being pulled tight like they are going to tear out so you try to loosen the bobble to ease the tension and in that, it pulls hair out, you can't win either way. Not great! Gutted though as hoped the would be as good as people claim. Read more
