I got a sample smell from a magazine and was super hesitant at first because I'm thinking, I've never even played rugby for South Africa, am I really qualified to handle this type of scent? Gut reaction was no definitely not, you work in an office. But one day I was feeling super bold and tried it and I gotta say, I felt like Matt Damon in Ocean's 11 but much cooler. I would say Matt Damon in Invictus but you know he was smelling rough after a game of rugby ball. I felt like a million South African Rand's and bought a full size bottle of Invictus so that I could really move up in the world. Unfortunately 1,000,000 rand is only about $68,000 which is appropriate because unfortunately, the wonderful smell does not last all day like some other colognes. I felt like $67,999 in the morning but by lunch, I feel and smell like $1 that has been handled by too many people and been in a number of questionable situations. I have been buying this cologn since its launch from Macy's. This is the 1st time I purchased it from a third party. The packaging quality was not the same as bought from Macy's. The cologn smells the exact same, no complaints about that, however, I believe the smell does not last as long as the product bought from Macy's. I had this on my wish list for about 2 years. I'm old school and I just don't like to spend 50 some odd dollars on things for me that I don't consider essential. But I bought this because I need something to put on my face after I shave and this product had/has rave reviews.First of all, it smells great. I know that's subjective but to give you some idea of what my tastes are like, I think Old Spice smells fantastic. I really can't describe the smell, so I'll just leave it at I think it smells pretty darn good.So I was really happy when I first put this on because of the smell and the ability to soothe skin after shaving. But it doesn't last. It couldn't have been more than 30 minutes at the most before I could no longer smell this product. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the longevity.I've been using a product called Usher EDT and it smells just as appealing to me as Invictus only it lasts 2-3 times longer. Yo siempre la compro cuando el frasco de 100 ml está en torno a los 40 € (he llegado a comprarlo por menos de 40 €). Desconozco si esto sucede con otras colonias, ya que solo uso esta. Pero la verdad es que el precio fluctúa más de lo que quizá debiera. Sé que es una trastienda para quien la compre cara. Por eso os comento que sucede esto. Sed pacientes y revisad el precio.Resumen; Muy satisfecho. I love this stuff. It’s expensive but it doesn’t come out of the fan like a fog that’s going to consume you in a King novel. More a sprinkle of liquid and that makes the can last way longer.
