Love it. I first tried the Diva cup and this is my second cup. I had a lot of leaking w/ Diva and realized it was cause I kept pushing the cup up too high. However, if the cup sat too low, it created a lot of pressure and made me feel crampy and the urge to pee and poop a lot.I quickly did research and learned that my cervix tends to sit high, even during my cycle. I saw that the Lily cup is one of the longer cups on the market. I liked the idea of a longer cup filling my vaginal canal and sitting more comfortably to me than a shorter cup. This cup is best suited for higher cervixes or people who would prefer a longer cup.The material of this cup is very nice. It's very smooth and soft. I find it to be comfortably pliable. The Diva Cup feels too rigid and was hard to slide in 'cause it kept unfolding midway. The Lily cup is a bit softer than the Diva, but not so soft it easily collapses. I really like that the Lily cup has an angle on one side, allowing you do one of their recommended folds easily. I also like that its unique shape doesn't cause too much of a suction sound when coming out.I haven't had any leaks with this cup *crosses fingers*, even overnight. I also didn't trim the stem. I highly recommend this cup if you have a higher cervix! The price is worth it and I got size A, because I've no kids and I felt that size would good for me. Read more
Ok so first the positive: the material is soft and supple. And I like the double lip, its a unique feature to the cups I hace looked at.That said this thing is massive. Its about as wide and long as three of my fingers, and this is the 'A' size. I am a healthy woman who enjoys a regular schedule of penetrative sex quite often. ....and still this thing is a bit much to try and roll up and stuff in. Its the full length, even with the first two ribs cut off like the helpful little booklet suggests it still pokes out. It is also wide enough that I cannot get it to open inside of me, I just bleed around it as I apparently lack the cavernous depths needed to deploy this beast. Read more
If you are looking for a period cup please look no further. This one is absolutely perfect. The base is stong so you can actually pull it out without trouble, it's curvy so it fits to your our body perfectly. It's slightly smaller then a diva cup and I find it fits and feels better. Some women complained of it creating too much of a suction inside of them? Never once had that problem nor do I think it would happen. Please if you need a period cup buy this one. In my photo I'm holding up the diva cup compared to the lily cup. You can clearly see the difference the lily cup fits to the female form while the diva cup is very industria. Read more
Super soft material. Love how it is easy to used. I already bought the other size B, I have the size A. I like that it mold to your body and its easy to remove. I did my research before getting these products and it took me a long time to decide, but I'm glad I got these products. I used the punch down method for insertion; it's works the best!!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Super worth it!! I'm on my 2nd month using this cup, so far I love it and I'm so sad that i stick to used pads and tampons so longan didn't not make the switch to a menstrual cup sooner. I have had less painful cramps!! Overall, I recommend this product to any beginner like myself in using a menstrual cup. Read more
I’ve been using a Yuuki Rainbow cup for about a year, so I will be comparing the two cups. I switched cups for two reasons. 1. My cervix thinks it needs to be as high as possible and the Yuuki Rainbow cup is now too short (and therefore getting painful to remove, as I have to pull it down A LOT in order to grab ahold of it) (No, I don’t cut stems because I need all the length I can get). With the Intimina, it’s always within reach, I just have to push down a little bit and I can break the seal and take it out. It’s nice to not have to spend half a minute to just get the cup out! 5 seconds, BOOM, done! 2. The Yuuki is a harder medical grade silicone, so when it opens up it’s like someone’s punching you from the inside. The Intimina is a softer medical grade silicone, so it’s not so traumatic when it opens up. The flip side of the coin is when you put the Intimina back in it can curl in on itself, so I have to guide it it and make sure it stays straight so it can open up properly. With the Yuuki cup, you just put it in, it doesn’t fold up on itself at all. Sometimes Intimina takes a little longer to unfold too, but that maybe because I’m use to a very abrupt feeling when a menstrual cup does unfold. I got both sizes (I’ve never had children) as during my heaviest days I need the bigger cup. I do have problems with not changing it enough so it leaks, but I’ve always done that from tampons to menstrual cups, so I wouldn’t blame the cup for my laziness. This only happens on my heaviest days (flash flood days), so the rest of the time I can go 8-12 hours and not have to worry about it. Overall, I’m very happy I changed over to this brand and would highly recommend for anyone who wants a softer menstrual cup for a very high cervix. Read more
