I have dry eyes/blepharitis, and was told by my ophthalmologist to purchase PRN's Dry Eye Omega Advantage (fish oil). I took the pills for several years, but got sick of dealing with the company after they changed things to increase the price, get rid of all authorized resellers, and require a minimum 3-month subscription that can only be cancelled by phone. Since then, I've just been using "normal" fish oil off the shelf. I have tried many Omega 3's Not just cheap capsules from Walmart but some high end ones that are reviewed here such as Progenex, Nutrigold, Amazing Nutrition, Whole food brand, Youngevity, Udo. I have also tried on regular basis many natural sources such as flax, flax oil, wild caught fish fats (both cooked and uncooked), chia, grass fed beef/butter, farm eggs, animal/poultry/fish brains (world's most potent source of Omega 3 that I bet very few heard about), fresh frozen and dried krill, krill oil, live krill, cod liver oil and cod liver etcI judge results by how it affected me in terms of inflammation control. It may not be the same for you. So far the biggest difference I noticed was with using this Intelligent Labs Brand. Reduced Joint pain (I lift weights), faster healing, better sleep, better breathing and stamina, more focus - the usual stuffs associated with Omega 3. Best way to take this is obviously with diet - especially fatty diet. The fatty diet will stimulate the lipase enzyme from pancreas helping you absorb the omega 3.I would like to advise a very important thing here. This brand is great and you will most likely see benefits BUT you must stop all other sources of fats in your diet that is high in Omega 6. Not all fish oil is created equal and if you look at a lot of unbiased studies you will find that Triglyceride Omega 3's in the amount this product has is usually the gold standard for fish oil. I've only been taking it a couple of weeks and so far my joint pain has improved and my general outlook on life has been more positive. These are benefits that I was not receiving from cheaper, inferior fish oil manufactured in China (if its a supplement manufactured in China stay away from it!). I just received my product from Intelligent Labs. I have taken omega supplements for about 10 yrs.now. I have even been on the pharmaceutical omega 3 supplement Levasa. Recently I have been looking into higher quality omega 3 supplements but many of them are very expensive. Intelligent Labs seems to have a great product that is highly purified with high levels of omega 3s in the preferred triglyceride form. I have not had any side effects of stomach cramping when not eating anything with these, nor do they create "fish burps" or other unwanted side effects. It's been just over three weeks since I've started using Ultra Pure Omega3 supplements. I have osteoarthritis and have noticed improvement in my joints. Obviously it does not take away the pain associated with osteoarthritis, but it does help make my joints move more fluidly. I had been using another well known Omega3 product for several years and simply did not feel any benefit from taking their fish oil. It’s an expensive omega oil but if you do some research you will find its in a try glyceride state which is more bioavailabe that the majority of others when are esther oil. There are lots of studies and even their competitor, webber maturals agrees that tryglicerides are better. (Webbers sells both)On back they say 1 pill is 300epa and 200dha. And have added that to incorrectly be 750 , not 500. Not sure what is up with that. Needless to say you need to take 3 pills as day. ThePills are huge too.
