I have never purchased an "Imposter" fragrance and I was extremely hesitant to do so, but one of my favorite perfumes is Philosophy's Amazing Grace. The downsides are that it's moderately expensive and it doesn't last very long. It's still rare to find a light, floral fragrance that I enjoy and that works with my body chemistry, and that perfume fits the bill.So, for a $12 imposter I wasn't expecting much, but I am shocked by the quality! I've got the real thing and this and can't tell the difference! In fact, I swear this one lasts a *little* longer - not much, mind you, but a little... and with a light fragrance, I'll take it, plus I don't feel bad putting it on multiple times a day for this price!Seriously - I'm shocked at how good this is. My other favorite is Ralph Lauren's Romance, and that will be my next purchase. At $17 it's a fraction of the cost of a big bottle, and too good of a deal to pass up. Buy this!Updated 11/27 - I still love the "Amazing Grace" fragrance, but I was able to try out the "Romance" scent in the store and it's absolutely DISGUSTING. It smells nothing like Romance, not even a little bit. It's more like... bug spray? B.o.? I don't know, but it is NOT good. Very, very gross - definitely stick to the original if that is your scent!I also tried Cashmere Mist. I am not familiar with the original scent, so I don't know how close it is, but it wasn't repulsive like Romance was. It is a light, powdery scent and it lasted even though I tried to scrub it off (when I was washing off Romance on the other arm because it smelled so bad!) It's not unpleasant, it's just not for me. ✳Okay, I really love this product! I use Amazing Grace like it's free. I have to use it in my cloths rather than my skin because it seems to last longer. This will replace what I spray on my cloths. Now I can use "The real stuff" that smells just like this on my body. I love smelling the scent of Grace on my cloths in my bedroom. I generally dry my dresses on a hanger and give this a spray down after I've washed them. Its a great product. I should probably get more before you can't get it.... My luck! Try it. I normally wear Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium. This scent is extremely close to the true product (my partner couldn't tell the difference when I compared the two on both wrists) I assume that this inexpensive alternative is less concentrated than the original product, therefore it doesn't last very long and needs to be reapplied throughout the day. But you can't beat the price especially if you're using it for a quick spritz to freshen up. Read more

While the fragrance is very close to the genuine "Amazing Grace" by Philosophy, it doesn't last even 2 minutes! The actual "Amazing Grace" is very light but at least in the eau de parfum format, it does last a few hours. I had hoped to be able to duplicate this, but unfortunately, it's a waste. I sprayed the genuine fragrance on one arm and this "inspired by" scent on the other. Worthless!!! Of course the "inspired by" fragrance is a cologne, a lighter version, and smells wonderful, the fragrance truly doesn't last at all. Strong alcohol scent when sprayed, then a tiny bit of fragrance after dry-down, then....nothing. Very, very disappointed. Don't make the same mistake I did in purchasing this.
