Like: cuts my drying time by at least 1/3 compared to my regular hairdryer and a round brush. It works to straiten my hair using the flat side only but will curl it too using the round edges.Dislikes: None reallyIt is big but it would have to be to do what it does. Read more

Growing up, and even as an adult, I have always been so envious of those with naturally curly hair. Mine has always been string straight, and so I could have curls for performances when my sister and I played the violin (she) and piano (me) all over Umatilla County in Oregon, I had to sleep with my wet hair wrapped up in rags torn from old sheets! I tried permanents, but usually even the best professionals couldn't avoid giving me more of a frizz, than they did curls or waves. As a mother, I soon began to understand "problem" curly hair since my daughter Debbie's natural parents included a Black father. When she became a pre-teen she envied the girls with long straight hair and especially straight bangs! I did everything to show her how fortunate she was to have such beautiful ringlets, but until she decided in High School to wear a gigantic Afro, she hated her curls. As an adult, she usually got short haircuts in styles that accommodated her curly hair.So what does that have to do with this Hair Dryer/Blower? It makes the claim that it will work on all kinds of hair, including "frizzy hair. I didn't have any frizzy or curly hair handy to give it a test run, but on my straight hair, one thing did impress me. Normally, brushing my long hair after I wash it ends up with a comb or brush filled with my thinning hair. Not with this! It did a great job of getting through my hair and removing very little of it in the process. I used the next to highest setting and found it comfortable, not too warm, but pleasant -- I might even say relaxing. I have brushed out "frizzy" hair many times -- both my daughter's and my granddaughter's and muscle memory says that this brush would work great on their hair type. The brush itself is a pretty pink color and comes in an attractive box that is mostly pink, but just sophisticated enough that it isn't hokey. Read more

You know those $400 Dyson blow dryers? I have one like it and I thought I'd solved the frizz problem. Nope. What solves the frizz problem is brushing out curly hair with hot air blowing out of the brush. THAT is what my ridiculously thick, curly-underneath, straight-on-top hair has needed all these years. This dryer has bristles that are far enough apart to prevent tangling when I'm twisting the dryer to get some wave into my hair. The force of the air didn't seem strong enough when I first turned it on, but 15 minutes later, my hair was nearly dry AND styled. My previous routine involved multiple steps, multiple appliances, and 45 minutes: blow dry hair straight. Use straightening iron. Use big round brush to get some wave into straightened hair. Now? No 30 minutes drying hair. No straightening iron. No big, round brush. Just this. I love it so much I want to be buried with it when I die. Read more

Hair type: super baby fine thinner hairHair length: just to shouldersI have had 4 different kinds of blow-dry brushes over the last couple of years and this is by far my favorite, beating out my Hot Tools dryer brush that I used for over a year now. It's more expensive but worth it.What makes this one worth the extra cost is:✓It's very lightweight compared to my Hot Tools and the other brand I recently tested out.✓The bristles are soft but firm enough. With my Hot Tools and the other brand, the bristles are a little hard and often pull at my baby fine hair, but this one glides through so easily with no pulling! yay! My hair looked soft and shiny.✓The cord is heavy duty and long enough✓The heat settings light up so you know where you are in the heating or cooling process (there is a cool button and low/high settings).✓It looks really nice with INH's peachy pink and white color.✓When on, there is that air sound that I notice the better quality hair dryers have--a muted sound I suppose.✓Blew dried my hair super fast.✓Comes in a nice sturdy box if you wanted to give it as a gift, or keep the dryer in the box to keep it clean and safe.I have another INH product (a 3-barrel curling iron) that I am impressed with, and I'm impressed with this INH hair brush dryer just as much.5 stars! My hair is just under 4" long on top. Just long enough that I need more than just gel or hair spray to keep it in place. I thought this would work out. It won't.What I did like was the swivel end and long cord. I could plug this in on the other side of the bathroom and still have enough length to move it around my head and hold it however I wanted without worrying about having enough cord length. And a swivel is practically a necessity on anything you are going to be twisting/turning the way you would a brush. The power controls are also nice. The bottom is a dial. Off, cool, low, high. There is a small blue LED indicator to show you what setting it's on - even OFF. Using the brush (on low heat) did not make my hair at all staticy. And it's not heavy, even for its size. What I didn't like. I didn't really get a chance to try this on high because I had to hold it right up on my head in order to get any hair in the brush and it was just too hot on high. On low; it is not only less hot, but it blows less too. My hair wasn't really getting dry. The brush is humongous. It's wider than my hand; not counting the bristles. It's not "round" either. It's more of a rectangle; with two large sizes and two smaller sides. But it's 'rounded' and doesn't have square corners. Like if your paddle brush had bristles all the way around. Unfortunately, rounded is not the same as round. There's no 'cool tip' grip at the end of the brush end. It's not dual voltage. So not for travelling. This (at the time of writing) is over $10 more than the most expensive hair dryer brush at both Target and Wal Mart.TLDR? This might work well for you if you have long hair, but there are less expensive options. Read more
