Although I really like this compact mirror, I have to point out two things: First, this mirror is much larger than the dimensions given on its Amazon description. It's closer to 3inches in diameter, which isn't a problem, but I was expecting something smaller. Second, the silvery metal was scratched in several places, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. I ordered this for myself, so I can live with the scratches, but if I was giving it as a gift, I would have to return it. However, the elephant design on the front is really lovely, and the two mirrors on the inside are perfect for my use. I just think the manufacturer needs to take more care when packaging it in order to avoid scratching the finish. Read more
Very pretty little handheld mirror that is perfect for carrying in a purse. It has a nice weight to it without being too heavy. The colours are vibrant and have a shimmery appearance. It is not opulent or gaudy, and has no rhinestones that can fall off and ruin the look of the compact. This was important to me as I wanted a mirror that was pretty and easy to care for. The clasps on the mirrors I received functioned well and never flew open on their own. There are two mirrors inside: one magnified and one unmagnified. Both are perfect, and there are no distortions, scratches, or other defects. The mirrors came individually packaged in transparent plastic boxes, with a gift tag (as pictured in the product image). There was also protective plastic film covering the top and bottom of the compact to protect it from scratches.I was looking for a pretty little mirror I could carry around with me, and this one has met all my expectations. When I take this out of my purse, my friends always ask me where I got it, and it is a conversation piece because its so intricate and unique. I loved these because of the elephant design. My mother passed away in July 2016 and the elephant was her favorite animal. I bought 10 of these for my sister's and nieces as little keepsakes in honor of my mom. My problem is...2 of them have smeared mirrors (as you can see in the pics I provided) 1 has a small crack on the front and 1 doesn't open easily, but it will open with a lil force from your fingernail. For the price these mirrors were perfect. I used them inside of my bridemaid boxes. I have seen almost all of my girls keep them in their purse. Many of them asked where I got them. Omg I love this thing. It’s a perfect size. I carry it in my cross body bag. It has a regular and zoom mirror. The elephant detailing is so pretty! I bought it for myself but it did come in a clear plastic case with a cute sign that says “For You” in case you wanted to gift it to someone. Read more
Very high quality feeling, has a good weight to it to feel nice but not too much where it's overbearing. Good clean mirrors with different magnification make this great for any purpose. Paint/color seems to be holding up well with no seem chips or nicks this far. Very pretty design and colors make this stand out from run of the mill compact mirrors on the market. Read more
