Really...One person doesn't say it's great and the OTHER complains about not being able to scrape product off cheek! SMH! Look, this product works great IF YOU USE AS DIRECTED! You must put thin layer on dry area. It's tricky, of course, because your mouth won't stay dry long. Anyway, dry the area - put thin layer - let dry a few seconds and repeat until you feel you've layer enough to DULL the pain. I'm sorry, it's just that the guy with the bad review...He just didn't use the product properly. Yes, over a period, your saliva will break the product down and become gooey, however, it's completely tasteless and doesn't make you feel like you're swallowing gook. When I have a bad ulcer, I put more product on to cover it and have to use paper towel to wipe away excess after a period. I mean, nothing is going to be in a constant moist environment and remain dry. Common sense tells you there's nothing dry to adhere to after a while. The best advice is to 1. catch sore at very beginning. That helps prevent spread and faster healing. If it gets out of control, you have to wipe excess and re-apply product more often.and being sure you're covering entire sore. Sometimes that doesn't happen and it still spreads or initial site gets worse..Bottom line...the more it's covered and not being nicked and rubbed against, the better chance at fast healing. This product allows that. If applied properly, it can give you 1-2 hrs of relief and sometimes more. Definitely choose gook over excruciating pain! Read more

Iglu is the best treatment I've tried for mouth ulcers! It works just as described: put a little on dry tongue, it anaesthetizes the area, coats it (the coating lasts), and heals it overnite. If the ulcer is a big, painful one, Iglu zaps the pain immediately. Then while the pain stays gone, the ulcer heals with another application. I did not, ever, need to use more than 2 applications. Thank you, Iglu! At long last, I can enjoy fresh tomatoes again! Read more

This product is the worst. It's sticky (I know it's meant to create a patch) and it doesn't numb worth crap. I couldn't even scrap it off my cheek after testing it. I got a refund through the Amazon a-z guarantee because the seller never responded to my complaints and request for refund. I would never order this again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
