I just received my lunch bag with the heels.I was concerned that it would be too small but it is just perfect for what I need.The bottom of the bag is much bigger then what I thought it would be and I will be able to fit several standard size adult lunch containers along with some additional items such as fruit and etc in it. The material and the zipper seem very sturdy. There was a slight smell when I unpacked it but not over powering. It seems to have disappeared some once since unpacking it. Cant wait to use it. Purchased this form my almost six year old daughter. She loves it. It's really cute and the quality of the print is nice. Some posts mentioned that there was an odor but I didn't really notice anything. It keeps her lunch cool and I can fit two snacks and her lunch in there with a milk box. The only thing that I am concerned about is how a liquid spill will hold up in this lunch box as she occasionally leaves something open and it accidentally leaks. This is a really cute and my 7-year-old daughter loved it. Unfortunately it had an awful chemical odor to it - it smelled like gasoline or some type of fuel. It was so strong that I could smell it as soon as I walked into the room that it was in. I tried washing it and putting it outside to air it out but the smell remained. I did not feel comfortable putting my daughter's food in something that smelled so toxic so I returned it. My daughter was very disappointed, because she loved the look of it and had hoped we could somehow fix the smell problem so she could keep it.Update - the seller was kind enough to send a free replacement without me requesting it. I appreciate that they stand behind their product and offer good customer service. The replacement does also have an odd odor but not quite as overpowering as the first one. This has enough space for the "three compartment bento" containers plus a drink for my kids lunch. I thought about getting the larger size but im glad i took a chance on this. I had no idea this opened up to be so big!!! I have an 11 year son that stands 6'2" and wears a size 12 shoe and he requires alot of food! So, I needed something stylish that went along with his daily duties. This was/is PERFECT! Kitten image looks less vibrant than product image. I have a different neoprene lunchbox where the interior is lined with a foil type water deflecting fabric for easy wipe outs. This one is unlined. So it will need to be washed regularly, which could happen at inconvenient times. I prefer the ease of lined. With a first grader, this thing only made it about 3 trips before needing a wash. Pros: the size is great. Flexible to fit a lot more items. Larger than her other neoprene lunchbox. I am really liking neoprene because it can squish down into a backpack easily once emptied. My 10 yr. old daughter adores unicorns and absolutely loves this lunch bag! I love it too! The graphics are awesome! Best of all, when lunch is over, it collapses fairly flat to fit into even the fullest backpack. It truly keeps food cold and is flexible, so if you need to put a couple of those bento boxes into it, it works. We haven't tried warm food yet, but it likely works for that as well. It's similar to wetsuit material , so it's very insulated and has a nice size, sturdy zipper. Very lightweight and durable. No marks on it, despite repeated use. She even took it on a trip across the country. It was perfect for carrying a meal onto the plane and then folded flat to shove in the carry-on suitcase afterward, without adding bulk.
