Great idea however it didn't work.I bought one for our kids room. They love music while going to bed. When their CD player broke we thought this would combine several of their devices into one.- The design in nice and came very well packaged.- The night light was nice without being overly bright.- My son really enjoyed the lullaby selection. There were quite a few ocean and nature sounds for him to make his own play list.- The monitors were comforting. Our house is old with vaulted ceilings. It was nice being able to check the temperature in their room without going in and risking waking them up. We also could listen to them from anywhere and check on them. This feature worked better than most baby monitors because I could check on them from anywhere not just with in range.- There really was no way of knowing if the air purifier worked or not. It told me it did but there isn't any fan to push air through so I'm not sure how something this small can clean the room.We were very happy for about 3 weeks then the night light wouldn't turn on every time. No big deal. We're parents, we own tons of night lights. However a week later the lullaby function stopped working. A few nights later it turned off and simply wouldn't turn back on.Amazon was great and quickly shipped us a replacement one. This one would not connect to my phone. If you can't register it on your phone it won't do anything but turn on. After trying to reach the IBaby's customer service several times with no luck I return the replacement as well.I really wanted to love this product but after trying twice I'm sad to say this is a dud. Great concept but definitely needs more work to create a functioning product. Read more

I got this from my registry and started using it only about 3 months ago. In that short amount of time, the connector for the AV plug broke and now the unit won't stay on. This is a perfect example of an overpriced product made using cheap components. In addition, when it did work, I ran into the following annoying issues:1. Humidity levels are waaaay off. Like, laughably so. Far greater than +/- 5%. It once said my baby's room was at 90% humidity!2. The VOC readings will spike for no apparent reason and the light will turn yellow or orange and freak us out. There is nothing we can do about it as there is no apparent cause.3. The "ion purifier" is a joke. The unit has no way to pull in air, it only releases "ions" which after some research turns out is a gimmick. It has a 35% 1 star rating for a reason! Keep it off your registry and get a standard air purifier/carbon monoxide detector instead. Read more

As far as I can tell this device doesn't do anything other plant a Chinese monitored wiretap in your baby's room. So far as I can tell it does nothing to improve air quality and air quality readings are not actually based on anything at all. The smartphone app, when it works, delivers very good audio quality. This isn't too much of a surprise though as the constant stream of UDP traffic to China should be enough to deliver high fidelity audio. Any attempt to block off incoming or outgoing traffic outside of your home network will render the device completely useless. In the end I opted to just throw this device in the garbage and be done with it. Read more

The ibaby air, powered on and nothing more. The customer service, after weeks of texting, finally gave me a suggestion to restart my internet router which didn't accomplish anything. This item is nothing more than a night light or paper weight for me. I strongly discourage any future purchases of iBaby air. My M7 monitor is okay but has bugs as well, the air quality feature is worthless. The alarms merely cause alarm fatigue, as a Registered Nurse in an ICU, I can tell you alarm fatigue will NOT get you to react to your baby more quickly. I am very hesitant to recommend this products due to poor customer service, poor quality related to high price, and unreliable alerts. Read more

I loved the idea of this product based on the description. BUT, there needs to be a clear description of how the product purifies the air. It uses negative ions to purify the air but as a result also produces ozone, which is a HARMFUL GAS for humans (especially babies!) to be breathing in at the ground level. I decided to research the benefits, if any, of ion purification. From there I learned about the offput of ozone and raising smog levels in the room it's placed in. Therefore, this product poses as a harmful health threat to my child and I will be returning for a refund. Best advice as a solution to this: buy a baby monitor only for video and sound (most also have night lights built in) and place plants in the room to purify the air. I've decided to go back to basics and nix the new gadgets that seem to do more harm than good. Read more

The humidity reading never worked. The VOC sensor works incorrectly and after 2 days gave many totally wrong readings. The software shows different values than the readings. The air cleaning is likely a hoax, there doesn’t seem to be a fan inside. I returned it after 3 days. Read more
