First and foremost, a note on the taste: after skimming through the reviews, I see that the primary complaint about SuperBeets is the taste. For that reason, I am addressing this first. No, this product doesn’t taste like koolaid, and if that is what you are expecting, you will be disappointed. There is no sugar in this product. It does have a hint of stevia to sweeten the taste, but again, I wouldn’t drink this stuff for the taste. So idk about an energy boost, or anything else people are complaining about, but I can talk about two things here.1) TASTE: I’ve ordered this in the black cherry flavor, and when I mix it, I use one scoop in a solo cup, fill with water to first line and mix thoroughly. This is like a shot. 1-2 swallows and done.2) I began ordering this because my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. After the first few radiation treatments, and due to other hereditary medical issues, the drs said he has a blood infection, and his body was shutting down. I order the super beets, and after 3days in his body, the infection went away.He’s very stubborn, so once the infection was gone, he refused to drink it anymore.Skip ahead to the second round of radiation and the addition of chemo this time, now 3mo down the road, and the blood infection came back, and again the drs couldn’t figure out how to fix it...I order super beets again, and once again 4days later no blood infection.Drs are baffled...(which surprises me and infuriates me that I can fix him and they can’t...)Anyhow...regardless of anything else...if your having blood issues...this to me is a miracle fix...eliminated his blood infection not once, but twice. I use this to keep my borderline high blood pressure under control. It is effective for a 10-20mmHg decrease of my blood pressure. It does dilate arteries as advertised which helps blood pressure and perfusion of organs.There has been a lot of testimonies by non-medical people who claim it gives them extra energy like caffeine but without the jitters. I am skeptical of this claim. A decrease in blood pressure would have the opposite effect in most people, although it is NOT sedating in my experience. Bad "energy". Used the recommended dose for 4 days. Immediately developed a muscle twitch under left arm that remained until I stopped using it. The "energy" the product claims is nervous energy, irritability, impatience and frustration. This also remained until I stopped using it.
