I’m giving it 5 stars because overall it works as it should and is a good deal for the price point. Upon arrival, it looks brand new in the original packaging wrapped in plastic. Once opened, it’s obvious that the product is either old overstock or returns that couldn’t be placed back on the shelf. The cord was completely wrapped around the entire flat iron, which is not how manufacturers package product like this.I bought an identical model at Ulta years ago and it recently broke, so I knew how the product worked already, and when I found it on Amazon for a fraction of what I paid for it before, I purchased. I'm giving this a low review because of the dang cord! The end doesn't swivel like it's supposed to because it's too stiff so it's constantly getting twisted and tangled and hooks onto the drawer knobs with the loop it creates. Irritating. As far as the actual iron goes, it heats up pretty quickly straightening the hair nicely as it runs very smoothly without any snagging and also produces really nice curls. I just wish the cord wasn't so dang annoying and would spin freely like other irons. Read more

Came packaged poorly. Looks as if it's been used before. I plugged it in to see if it worked. It did not. The on/off switch has been jammed in side ways and appears to have scratch marks on it. Very disappointed! Read more
