Very nice. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars. It is not a top-quality super-silky "buttery" eye shadow, but it's quite good. It applies smoothly and blends well, and you'll get totally opaque coverage with a couple of layers. No fall-out. I love that it's also affordable and non-toxic. I got the shade Pacific which is a shade of blue that's actually hard to find. It's a medium blue that's fairly deep but isn't dark or navy, it's a warm-toned blue that'll look great on warm brown eyes or amber or green eyes. The shade isn't flat, but it's more matte than shimmery, making it very versatile for a blue. Keep in mind you are only getting a bare eyeshadow pan here, in a thin plastic clam-shell wrapper, inside a tiny paper envelope. There is NO CASE. The shadow (which is standard size, about the size of a quarter) is meant to be placed into a magnetic compact of your choice. Honeyebee sells a compact that'll hold 4 of these shadows, but other compacts will work too, such as the ones made by Z Palette, Aveda, or Anastasia. Or if you are buying only one shadow, I'd suggest just storing it in any very small container, that way you can pop it into your purse or travel bag. Read more

I have very sensitive skin & get blemishes (including tiny white bumps) immediately after using certain makeups that claim they're made for sensitive skin (Pixi, Bare Minerals, etc). After seeing other reviews I took the leap & bought their eyeshadow samples. I'm so glad I did! It was the 1st time in almost 10 years that my eyes didn't water after applying eye makeup. Since then I've used their concealer, eye shadows, powder cover up, blush & eye liners. Most of the tiny bumps went away. As for this eyeshadow alone... love how this isn't too shimmery, works as a great base & also as a more natural effect on my lids when using alone. The company makes for a great experience! For my eye color, I like to use subtle greens and browns, with an occasional mauve. Buying one of the Honeybee sets, and then switching this green in for one of the colors in the set, I now have all the colors I need in one place. It was a little pricey, but considering I would have had to buy 3 or 4 other eye color kits to get what I needed, this turned out to be cost effective. I've read that plum shadow goes well with green eyes, so thought I'd try the Daredevil shade. It really does make green eyes pop! Not only that, but it goes on smoothly, lasts all day, and has good ingredients. Storing it in its little package works fine. I'm very happy with this purchase and glad I ordered 2 due to the small size. Eyeshadows last a long time, so I didn't mind spending more for a quality product. Read more

Color is a little cooler than I see in the pic. But, it’s fine. I have plenty of warm shadows to blend it with. It’s hard to find a medium matte olive-type green. Not sure why there are complaints about size; this is similar to a MAC or ABH refill. Read more

OOphs maybe it was my fault but this shadow is for a replacement container. No container included. The color has a nice sheerness- but I was hoping for it to match my skin color- it is a bit too pink. I use it as a neutral under the eyebrow and add some power over it. Read more

This mineral eye shadow has been lovely so far. The packaging is not what you'd normally expect. It comes in a tiny cardboard envelope, and the shadow itself is in a tiny shallow tin that is loose in the envelope. It's hard to explain, but they use no plastic and way less packaging than any other mineral shadow I've come across so far. Pretty cool. Read more
