As a typical Norwegian with a typical Norwegian head - (other Scandinavians call us "square heads" or so I'm told) and every mother giving birth to a Norwegian baby has a story to tell, I'm sure - I have finally found something that fits my head! Hats, caps, helmets, etc. all are a bit too tight - and I'm not the biggest head in my family! So now, after years of searching (well, maybe 4 months since I couldn't get a haircut because of Corona) I was in search of something to hold back my hair and each one failed completely. I didn't know there was a term "Headband Headache" until one evening I had the most excruciating headache radiating down my jaw - thinking I must have a tumor or was getting a stroke - no joke - I realized I was wearing a headband and took it off - immediate relief! Whew! Then I went on a search and found Hipsy. Thank you very much for making an adjustable headband plus the velvet backing keeps it in one place on my head - I have very fine hair and most clips fall out unless firmly established. This headband is so light, so comfortable and wonderful that I am going to look for other colors now and get one for each outfit. (I only have like 10 outfits so don't get too excited, Hipsy). These are really comfortable and I've had problems with these things snapping off my head and I saw these and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. A bit expensive for 3 headbands I thought but I just tried them and I will say they are definitely worth it. I'm growing my bangs out and my hair is in the awkward stage right now so I needed something to keep the hair from my face. Well I'm glad I tried these, plus I have a larger head and I love how they are adjustable. No more headband headaches! (Yes headband headaches are real)! The product came fast, but... First they are not that easy to adjust. They are not comfortable on the head. It feels and looks like decorative scotch tape on top of a skinny piece of felt. I so had my hopes up for finding a headband that didn't hurt my head, but this one did. It's way worse than any fabric headband I've tried so far. Read more

Having some serious hair issues because of illness/age. Eight months ago I had thick, wonderful, strong hair. No more. Couldn't manage to make this now cotton candy stuff look decent. Well, these hair bands hold it all together in a neat, attractive way. These headbands are cute and I like the felt feel on the underside. But I must have a weird shaped head because I can’t get ANY headbands to stay put. I will say these stayed a little longer than most, but still slip off. Read more
